Nice work Jeffrey for one day!!

I would have had them done a few hours earlier but I had a few interruptions.

Your layout is looking good. Keep up the good work.

Evening all!

Missed a day but have had a lot of activity here. The house has two furnaces and the older one failed. The good news it is not the one that feeds the bedrooms so no emergency but spending time trying to get quotes. Got a quote for a combined furnace and new air conditioning system (old one is only 35 years old - I rebuilt the furnace 10 years ago) and holy moly the same high efficiency HVAC system I bought in 2003 from the same company for the other side of the house is 2X the price! I asked them how that can be - my cars, pool equipment replacement, home remodeling, etc.,  the last couple of years have not doubled, so why the HVAC? The price is so high there is no payoff on the higher efficiency units and we will not be here long enough to justify. So asked them to meet a certain price. We will see what they come up with. In the meantime - I am going to look into fixing the old one again.

To add to the fun and as life would have it, we had already committed to getting the front walk from the city sidewalk to the front door replaced. It was in bad shape, really ugly, and had seriously subsided with the drought. So the day was spent watching the crew jackhammer out the old sidewalk and front stoop. This activity shaking the whole house made the the dog really unhappy. They think they will get it formed and poured tomorrow. Going with stamped and stained concrete. Should look nice.

Jeffrey - the weathered cars look great!

Kev - Layout Yes

Buckeye - hope everything comes out all right Mischief

Have a great evening all!

OHIO - snow? guess they misfired loading the cannon again. That thing backfires more than it hits the mark Laugh Gonna be 65 tomorrow - nice day to pour concrete...

Regards, Roy

All you hunters who take your dogs with you best be careful, they mite be planning a revolt.

SALT LAKE CITY (Associated Press) --

A Utah bird hunter was shot in the buttocks after his dog stepped on a shotgun laid across the bow of a boat.

Box Elder County Sheriff's Deputy Kevin Potter says the 46-year-old Brigham City man was duck hunting with a friend when he climbed out of the boat to move decoys.

Potter says the man left his 12-gauge shotgun in the boat and the dog stepped on it, causing it to fire. It wasn't clear whether the safety on the gun was on at the time.

Potter says the man was hit from about 10 feet away with 27 pellets of birdshot. He says the man wasn't seriously injured, in part because he was wearing waders. The man was treated at a nearby hospital.

WowIt completely slipped my mind, and I just realized I forgot my 4 year anniversary.  Now I am in big trouble.  The Chief says that anyone forgetting their anniversary must buy the rest of the POT members a couple of rounds of Beer or Drinks.  Where do you guys (and Penny) want to meet up? Big Smile
