Good evening, A belated HAPPY EASTER to those still logged in and those on the West coast yet to log in.

We had a great day here, went to the 8:00AM service, which was fuller than usual, but still had a few empty seats.  Then to visit the FIL at Masonic Village, he was in good spirits, but the dementia is unrelenting.  Completed the day at son's place with 12 family members at dinner.  Weather was great up until about 4:00 PM then we had a few showers.  High today was 78, which beat the forecast by a few degrees.

Tomorrow morning will be a treat, have an appointment for the cat at the vet.  Between putting her in the carrier and holding her for the vet, I usually need some first aid myself.  She does not like going to the vet.Super Angry

Good evening all,

Rainy in SE Indiana.  Made the mistake of mentioning heavy trash pickup to wife.  Spent all afternoon going thru stuff.  Did get rid of a bunch of junk.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Good evening everyone.  It was a great Easter here.  Went to church and Sunday School.  At church, I had to work Camera 4 which is not my usual position and I was supposed to be off anyway, but always check in as you never know.  Service was great and lots of the twice a year crowd too.  We have a "over-flow" room that is also the chapel for smaller services, like funerals, etc.  They had a good crowd in there too as it was standing room only in the main sanctuary.

Ended up not doing anything with the trains today.  Went to some friends of ours and had fried turkey with lots of extras and after desert, we played a card game called "Hand and Foot".  Never heard of it till today and have not played cards in many years...was fun.

I hope that each of you had a blessed day and pray for a great week ahead.
God Bless,
Dennis

A Blessed Easter to everyone here, beautiful services this morning and a very quiet day with just the two of us.  The boys and their families were with their wives families this year so we did get quite a bit of yard work done this afternoon, I think I hear the train room calling Thumbs Up

Stay well.

well got about 20 minutes into changing the belt when I discovered well its time to stop the fan wobbles ( ie the water pump) knew it had to be more if the belt just came off. Well also tells me not to go back tot hat garage for any repairs as glad all i did was ask advice and the head mechanic stated sounds like serpentine belt to me well start with that and see, I don't like we will start with and well see!

guess will call Firestone as they have been good to me so far what they want to fix it in the morning and if they have a company that will tow it and put it on there bill to me. hate to but may need to have Chevy come get it and they might as well change the belt tot he AC while the serpentine belt is off.

Oh Happy Easter all its so joy joy here well can't really complain as I was able to get home with the truck at least last night.

Hope all have a good easter and will talk to you all later.

Afternoon all and Happy Easter!

Finally got home.  After services went to MIL for dinner and the kids looked for Easter Eggs.  All the services were great.  We are so blessed, our parishes share a wonderful priest.  God is great!

I am going to try and take a nap while the kids are distracted.

May God bless

Happy Easter to all,

Doug, 17 to 22 for parking in Chicago for baseball.  Wow!, the Dodgers must have taken their inspiration from them.  Bessie Smith had a song with lyrics like "25 cents?, I wouldn't pay 25 cents to get in nowhere".  That's how it makes you feel.

Got to run now and get ready to get to church early to find a seat because of the twice a year crowd but glad they are coming.

Peace be with you all,

Ray

Aloha and Happy Easter! A beautiful day here - makes it all the better after all our rain. Went to church yesterday. Learned my fellow video director broke her leg so I'll be serving a lot in the next few weeks for her. Watched the new Doctor Who last night. Ran trains for a while. Set up the bunny's baskets. Now off early to the inlaws where I have to hide the eggs for the youngsters because they come home from church. Big Smile. I'm good at it too.  Mike, the Pacers look like the Bulls were last year. Big article in today's Tribune about the 100th anniversary of the 500. Doug, I remember those days... Hope you get a nap today.

HAPPY EASTER ALL.  Back from Sunday School.  Was feeling too bad to hit early Church.   Getting ready to go to In-laws to cook chickens on grill.  The usual Easter chore for me.  Sunny and hot.  Suppose to hit 87 today and tomorrow.  Later.

HAPPY EGG DAY!

Dennis - We have a number of raised beds. Started out 24" tall. Don't like any bending over or ground crawling so I added 6" to the height this spring. They work great!

RT - I had an 87 Chev. PU with a serpentine belt. Broke three time during the 14 years I had it. Found out the AC compressor was factory mounted at an angle (unfixable). When we bought the wife's car, she insisted on a two belt system.

Chief - You might be a Redneck Gardener if:

You have been cited for reckless driving on your riding lawn mower.

You mow your lawn and find a wheelbarrow.

Kudzu covers your arbor.

Happy Easter to all!  Off to visit my mother in an hour or so.  Hope everyone is enjoying the happy day.  It's cloudy and raining here, but that won't get in the way of the holiday spirit.

Evenin' All.

Great day at the museum yesterday, after getting rid of some gremlins. The Easter Bunny Trains, all three, were a big hit. Not to mention the big bag of candy we went thru. With only two of us there we were kept hoppin, like a bunny, all day.

The munchkin spent the nite last nite so of course grampa and grandma pulled some strings with the Easter Bunny to make an early visit. Smile Guess it has been to long since we have had little ones in the house during these special days. It was an absolute joy seeing the excitement and anticipation he displayed. Except when he woke us up at 2:30am, 3:30, 4:30 to ask if the Easter Bunny had been here yet. Finally at 4:45 we got up, Zzz. It has been a very long two days, hope to be in bed reasonably early tonite that is if I finish the "Honey do's". Sigh Gotta be up early to start on tomorrow's dinner.

Happy Easter my friends and cherish the time spent with friends and family.

Good nite.

Having a family day tomorrow of course, right after church.  Hope Brutus and you all avoid all the bad weather!

OK, testing the compatibility mode, hope it works!  Storms were bad around us, but no damage to our family or property.  Prayers for those who were hurt, though.  Just took it easy today and goofed off.  Supposed to go to my folks tomorrow night for dinner, but also supposed to have big dangerous storms again, so might end up staying home.  Usual festivities in the morning and thankfulness of course.  TARDIS IS READY, FREDDY - Let's go!

Good evening guys.  Chief, one, or both of those bunnies could get you in trouble!  Hope you get to feeling better soon.  I am thinking about starting a raised garden as we miss the fresh home-grown veggies.  Just have a few more projects to get done on the well that feeds the irrigation system.

Joe, I will let you know.  Wife knows my schedule along with all that the kids have planned, so I will check.

Built some HO buildings today to place towards the back of the layout as forced perspective.  Also have some print outs of some HO size buildings to use in the back ground.

We have a busy day tomorrow.  Being Easter, we will go to church and then to some friends of ours for dinner.  I am sure it will take most of the day, so not sure if I will get to the trains or even on here.  I do pray that everyone has a blessed Easter.

Good evening all,

It is rainy in SE Indiana.  Pacers win means no sweep by the Bulls.  Had a nice visit with daughter and son.  Picked up a good deal on some LEGOs I wanted.  TBIL and I can drive.  I hope everyone has a nice day.

Well about 2 hours ago the truck broke down. Have no idea how I'll get to work tomorrow. Hoping its just the serpentine belt but I have other ideas as it came off so Think it must be something else. It has been squealing but took it to a shop and they wanted $100.00 to change just the serpentine belt but now I think it must be something else as it came off with out breaking. And now I have to get it towed. After playing with it for a while I got it to start and was able to drive it home seeing I was only about 2 miles from the house.

Well I guess Happy easter all as I will be able to look at with a different view come morning I guess Its just getting to me. Bang HeadNot sure what I'm going to do.
