I call Shake and Bake. "What is going on?" i knew this low down sneeky crowd was up to something as no one had said Happy Birthday on this forum. I arrive at Town Hall and they had gotten a call from Shake and Bake. So I was brought a copy of the Wake Weekly which comes in the mail. I had gotten the mail but had not opened the paper [BTW: someone stole my N&O newspaper out of my driveway today]. Seems I am shown this:

ChiefEaglesPat, Norris [who the heck he is] who sent mine and Tom who sent yours have a dirty minds. We have discussed female Dr's over and over on here. I think they are more concerned for their patients than most male Dr.s The Motherly thing. That is why my Dr's are female. Nothing sexist intended. Norris needs to go on his way. This is what happens when somone who is a user/modirator drops in and are not familiar with the posters and past subjects discussed. We all remember Selector dropping by and getting involved. Bob Keller is the best modirator. He will call us down when he needs too. On the other hand, he knows us and is familiar with our past discussions.

For some on here today this is a period of some enormous highs and equally tremendous lows, look back on the good times to help offset the lows and the joyous future of sharing in a new life. Prayers to all from our home to yours.

Best kept secrets is right. And I think we all owe a big THANK YOU! to Don and Buckeye for all their efforts.
Does this ever show those on another forum that us sheep DO like the Chief! Right Don?
Now lets see here, there was something special about today....now, what was it? Oh yeah, it is two days before D-Day! Thats it!
Oh, but really, Chief, did ya think we'd let your big day go by without some kind of celebration? Besides, who could forget with all the hints you dropped ANyway, hope that you have a great one shared with Mrs. Chief and lots of friends. God Bless,Dennis
PS: About time, we've been waiting all day to mention it, but were restricted by our Special Operations Commander out in CA. No mention till you saw it. I doubt you will ever know the complete story and how many folks were involved. You either have a lot of people that care about you, or it may be that you have a lot out to get you.

What about a BDay party in person, face to face. Could it happen? Most of us have only met on the "Pot" forum or by email, not in person. What do you think?
Happy Birthday! Nice job, Don...

Not that is going to take some serious thinking............
- Start a grass roots campaign for govenor
- We attend a City Council Meeting
- Hire a "Party Dancer" from Raligh to attend a City Council Meeting
- Send Buckeye down as a "Belly Dancer"
- Hire Fife and his boat to go up to the Lake and hijack the Pontoon Boat (the one with chiggers)
- Make him a Thomas Tank Engine body kit for his John Deere mower
----- Have to think more on this -----
The first friend I made in this hobby with O gauge was the Chief - he welcomed me here and made me feel at home. The first good advice I recall was from the Chief - on what transformer to get. He also shot me links to long threads comparing different ones and explained what it all meant to me. I thought these things ran on DC - no joke! Too, he explained block wiring to me and did not wonder at my lack of knowledge. Finally, although he did point out to me that I am in fact a Yankee, although from a border state (MO), he did not chew me out for calling him at what I later learned was about 11:30 PM in NC time! And after telling me all about his boat and his boat charger, some Sears tools, and his trains, at about 12:45 AM his time he did ask what I had called about proving that he is not only a gentleman, but also has a better memory that I have because I had completely forgetten!
Prayers for Tom and Chief's friend.
Congrats Buckeye on the newest Buckeye and I know that won't be the only train he gets from Grandad!
Congrats, Rich, on your recertification! Hope you get to go riding soon buddy!
Kurt, glad to hear from you again! Hope all are healed up soon man!
SJ - what can I say? I'm so proud of you! 18 pounds - I think that's like 36 Courics? I hope you didn't hurt yourself.
Wife is feeling fine today, thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
I'll be back later. I know I forgot some comments I intended to make, but there was just so much there! What a great forum - lots of fellowship, good information, good jokes, and great hobby talk!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Guys...need a little help, when is the Chief's Birthday. I seem to have forgotten.
Chief this whole thing started with one little email that said, "June 4th is the Chief's Birthday". We nixed several ideas that we were not in poor enough taste.

THANKS GANG. Know how to make a guy feel good. This is a great bunch. Love you all. God bless.
Now God did have a hand in this. He kept you all from sending Buckeye disguised as a belly dancer. Especially at the end of the dance, if he had tried to give me a kiss. UGH, Spit, Spit, Listerine, Lye Soap!!!!!!!
Outstanding surprise.
Good evening all,
A special late night post from the Hoosierland. Happy Birthday, Chief! For once I wanted to be able to post on the day of the actual event. Without your guidance, this slowly growing circle of friends would not exist. Hope you are having a great day!
Keep on training,
