Good morning all,
It is foggy in SE Indiana with temps near 70. Feeling better. Lucas is home from school for summer. At work. No Tardis tonight. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Good morning
Overcast and going to 70s. Maybe some showers today.
No plans except a few things I want to do on the layout.

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a sunny 54 degrees. Rained last night. Going up to 73 today with a chance of rain later. We need more sunshine.
Today is busy. I have a couple of errands to run and the usual chores around the house. Maybe some train time later.
Dining car was here and we had the usual for breakfast. Cheerios.
Y'all have a great Thursday.
Chuck
Morning all. Was a long evening as when I got home, I had but 20 minutes to get changed and head to violin lesson. Played a little Mozart....not well, but did play. I can play a note that sounds great....it is just a matter of putting notes together to make a song. That is where I run into trouble.
Waiting to start my case. The first one for the other team will take some time and I am helping out as needed. Probably will get going in the next few minutes though. New guy is coming along, but it is tough sometimes because we tend to judge a person through our own years of experience. A guy with 2 years just doesn't have what a guy with 20 years of experience has.
Just hoping to get some tractor work done this week prior to the weekend as daughter has her recital and I have some train layout to get to.
Take care and God Bless,Dennis

Morning all!
After I waxed the car, and all...still no rain...strange.
Bride hijacked the office again last night...so no computer for me....she barely was able to eat dinner as the crackberry rang. I'll catch up to the chats again soon. I hope.
Ribs on the menu for tomorrow. Apple wood chips are ready. Rub prepped...Will massage the ribs tonight, and get the beans ready for the smoker.
Kurt
Morning all. Rained overnight.Everything turning green. Nice and sunny. Prepping the daughter and bride for their trip to Ohio tomorrow. Adding to my list of things to get done in their absence with the boys. Nice chatting with Sir J and Brutus last eve.

Dennis--hang in there with the practicing, everyday, it will happen. Remember how to get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice practice.
Kurt--we did the ribs & beans two weeks ago, fabulous----now I'm getting hungry and it's only 9:10 AM !

So many roads, so little time.
Rain ... damp .... chilly ... let's my old buddy Arthur Ritis take over ... my son said I walk around like the hunchback of Notre Dame sometimes when I get up out of the chair .... ... where's that beautiful .. warm SUN ?
Kpolak .... PM'ed you with the site of my membership ...
Ole Timer, we have beautiful warm sun here today. If I had a way to ship you some......
Anyone have experience putting together O scale kits by Bar Mills? Frank53 posts on this and "the other" forum and thinks highly of their kits. He has postings of How To put some of them together. I want to try one, but wanted to ask the Coffee Pot your thoughts.
I started a thread on why I am not getting notified with email post notices. The only response was others noticing the same thing. Has that service been discontinued?

Patrick, I read your thread but I don't want all those e-mails so I actually have no idea how to get them. One of these forums sent me mail when I first signed on and I was glad to get rid of them.

You are right, there are a lot of emails, especially on the Coffee Pot thread. The reason I like them is I usually respond to several threads and it is easier to read the emails than to call up each thread to see if I need to answer.
Evenin' boys. Evenin' English. Sun is peeking out (first time in a week) and 71 here in the Mid-Atlantic region.
<--- getting closer...
Ole Timer: Received your PM! Been there! Great site! Thanks.
Phish --- Were there boxes on your doorstep? How did you like how I repainted the car from California and Iowa?

Buckeye .... finally took the time to look over every area of your site . Great tunnel portals on your layout .... and that dining car on the napa valley trip you took sure is beyond beautiful . If one wanted to duplicate that ... sure would be fabulous ... but alot of mini woodworking .... but worth it .

Thanks Ole Timer. The tunnel portals are the stuff you buy from Scenic Express with some weathering added. I've got four more K-Line portals ready to add.
The dinning car was very nice with great woodworking. It was riding in the cab of the Napa Valley Wine Train that was unbelievable.
BTW, did you check out the new video section? I have a flat screen and have been wondering what the videos look like on other people's screens.
Buckeye the vidios looked great. Kinda laugh thou the one witht he hotbox car it kinda sounded like a cat meowing when it went by at first. the pic on the bottom of the steamer in snow is that a g auge out on your front porch or is it On30 ?
Life's hard, even harder if your stupid John Wayne

Buckeye ... yes I did ... clear and crisp with excellent sound quality .... loved that song on the amtrack video .... first hotbox in action I've seen ... she puts out the smoke does'nt she ?
Have to rush over to Ebay ... if I miss another auction end I'm gonna kick myself ....
RT ....It is G outside by the deck.
OT.....After turning the fan around, the hot box puts out more smoke than anything on the layout. It is the most obnoxious sounding car I believe Lionel ever made. I have had people leave the room with the smoke and the screech.
Howdy from the lake. Had to mow the hay. Remind me NOT to fertilize this lawn up here next year. Was sunny, hot and humid. Now dark clouds and wind picking up with dropping temps. Probably more storms. Had big ones up here last night. Water standing everywhere. Big FLW tournament this week end. I am in Ranger bassboat heaven. Been to the Olde Place for dinner. Shrimp and flounder. Lucy is up here with me. She is a happy girl. BTW: she was 1 year old yesterday. She has been on 5 golf cart rides this PM when I took breaks from mowing. 1.1 acres is a lot to mow when it is HIGH. Going to the house to rest now. Later.
PS: Robin my sidekick, my arch enemy the Penquin [Buckeye] can do some great videos with great music.

Happy birthday to Lucy! Back from open house at kindergarten - quite the important event apparently. Now to work out things (map, etc) for the bride and daughter's foray into mid-Ohio. Then make my own plans...
Evening all from beautiful Southern Ohio
It started out wet, then dried up enough to cut my grass. It may be Sunday afternoon before I get o my friend's yard. Been real busy at work and at home. Got the kids down and need to finish the homily for this weekend.
GregM - Check the USEC site, more jobs are going up.
Buckeye - Yes, I had two brown boxes delivered. Nice cars. The paint job is well, interesting, or shall I say unique.
Chief - Grass is one of life's mysteries. You work had to get it to grow only to work hard to cut it down. I wish my friend would get a better mower for his yard.
Good night and may God bless
Jim
Good Evening
Dark out now, a little rain this afternoon.
Cleaned the garage and a few other small chores today. Also ran trains for a little while. Ready for Brutus with banilla in hand.
I survived somehow, Chief. In fact, I got my wife up into the attic and demonstrated the new locomotive for her.
Interesting story line is developing. Pictures on SPF.
Sunny and low 70's here today. Really nice for a change. I think I'll go out and get some porch time before going to bed tonight.
Heard from my youngest son tonight. He will be coming home early next week to pick up his car. Seems that he has a line on a job in Orlando. He has been staying with a friend there for a bit while looking for a job.
Talked with my friend from Michigan today and sync'ed up our travel plans for the Buick GS Nationals next week, made arrangements for a room and a car. Now all I've got to do is lay low and stay out of trouble tomorrow at work.
Has anybody seen a weather forcast for Bowling Green, KY. for next week?
Howdy guys - nice out today here in the St. Louis area, but it's going to rain all day tomorrow. Worked, came home, ate dinner, played video games, watched tv with the family, and talked with Sir James for a bit on the computer and then on the phone. Signed up for 6 OT on Saturday, none available on the 16th. 3 Day weekend coming up
Tardis is fueled and I see some beacons and a couple porch lights, plus one bug zapper? Oh - did get another TCA mag today, always interesting. Well, thunder started, so TTFN!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Just got home from Star Trek..wow !

Good morning....where is everybody.

IIABSDISEI with temps in the 70s. Good day at work yesterday until innards went south on me again. Did nothing last night except rest. At work today not sure how long. May be an intestinal "bug". Lucas is mowing grass today for me. Hope I shake this off soon. Tired of pain. Sarah 18th quick in practice. Foyt cars 22nd and 23rd. Could be an interesting weekend of time trials at Indy. I hope everyone has a good day.
Morning all. Hard to see with the sunlight hitting the computer screen. Looks like a nice day today - will be busy after the bride leaves for Ohio. Got a long list of things-to-get-done-while-they're-gone. 8ntruck, looks like a perfect week in Bowling Green next week. Charlie, Star Trek got good reviews here. Mike, prayers for your feeling better. TGIF
Ribs rubbed, coleslaw made with help of 4-yo, 'n 'da chips are a soakin'.
4-yo interested on going for a bike ride, as she sees all the other kids doing the same, so that's on our list.
