fife.....just wear your WWF Champion T-Shirt (you still have it?) and hold your bowie knife so the young suitor can see it glimmer in the dim light, then say, "You know, knives are much quieter than guns."

I'm thinking he should get some fake hair and apply to his back, put on the leggins, and paint his tongue green and go as George 'The Animal' Steel!

Patrick .... I wish that everyday !  My wife is a pure city girl .... refuses to this day as when we got married to live in any house she can't see a neighbor's house from .... crazy ... but true . She says it's " too SPOOKY ... it makes her have a real scarey feeling " .... LOL --- When I built this house it was in the middle of the boonies ... woods all around ... had to peek through one little area to see a neighbor . All the landowners sold the woods and people built everywhere ! Maryland's like that ... horrible .

RT .... for all that cat food and litter ... HOW DARN HUGE is that cat ?

And guys ... I never had daughters but took custody of my wife's youngest sister back in the early seventies . Well her date said he did'nt like my rules of taking her out and was'nt afraid to tell me .... my opinion a real loud mouthed punk .... he called and told her he was coming at a certain hour to pick her up .... I told her to show him in to the rec room ... I guess he thought he'd put fear in an old man's heart . When he walked in all cocky i was cleaning my remington 1100 auto shotgun . I pulled the bolt back and let her slam shut ... said

" you have something to jump on me about ? "  Well ... it was " No Sir ! ... stareing at the shotgun ... those rules are just fine " . That was the last time he came around ... to my pleasure .... LOL . Sometimes it's good to be a redneck - grits eatin - hillbilly . You know the old saying

Only one rule for our son's when at that "dating" age --  nothing good happens after mid-night, be at our home or hers.  Period.  Be home (or earlier) at 1:00 AM weekends ......... no need to be out at all on week night's.  Yup, DAD with rules -- sure didn't hurt them, very successful teenagers and *** good ACT scores Thumbs Up

I'm glad it caught Kurt's disease for your sake and not the Buckeye disease where the lights blink and smoke pours out.  The fire department just ripped it out from under the counter and threw it out the door.

Evening all!

Doug:  Sorry about the sick dishwasher.  Call the manufacturer first, and make sure the diagnostic fee is paid as well as the parts and installation.

Brutus:  Very nice!

Shotgun Hhhmmmm,,,,,All I have are small arms.....I still have a few years before dating age.

Beautiful day here!  Spent some time in the yard with the girls, played baseball, soccer, went for a walk, and did some yard work.  Ug.  Need to do more tomorrrow.  Spring clean up is miserable under all these trees.  Once it's done it's done.

I seee one of my sneeky raids into Ohizo worked.  Crossed the wires on several relays in that dish washer.  Works every time. Whistling  Now I do think Buckeye must have paid Mother Nature off.  Still raining. Sigh

Another long day.  Tomorrow is the same.  Physcial in the AM, lunch with County Commissioner that suddenly wants to come to Roseyville and Town Board tomorrow night.  Good night all.

See my temporary temporary layout on a card table, lol!  Please pardon the dust, had to move my daughter's stuff out of the way so I could get to it.

Tardis is ready and SJ1 is falling asleep - soon, the banilla will all be ours, lol!

Doug, I'll bring the Sonic Screwdriver over, maybe we can monkey with that washer and get it fixed?  Rich might be able to get another matter/anti-matter converter, that really souped up the one on the Tardis!  Also gotta get Mike, Jim, Charlie, Doug, Don, Laz, Dennis, Chief, Jack, Patrick, RT, Ray and the rest of the guys - on the way!

Charlie - sweet Mikado!

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Mornin' Fellas.

Well hopefully today will go better than yesterday. Had some issues with hardware yesterday... Banged Head

I've been putting off some non-train related purchases and finally got them done yesterday. Picked up 2 new batteries and a wireless remote for my camera on eBay... OK yes they are train related because I'll be using them to take some pictures Smile. Also picked up the lens with image stabilization (wide angle and zoom) about a month ago. I kept the non-IS lens for back up and also because I will still use them for other photography projects.

Susie-Q is taking me out for a light dinner tonight for my b-day so I won't be able to get into the trainroom again. Definitely need to get into it tomorrow so I can measure the space for the town. I'm toying with the idea of building the town similiar to the hillside towns along the Ohio River in Pittsburgh... Not sure how that will look/turn out may have some scrap lumber to start messing around before the weekend. Also need to get that curved stone arch bridge started...

Looking forward to York!

All this talk of dishwashers... Susie-Q wants a new stove with double oven and I want a new dishwasher, either the two drawer variety or a deep well, tired of the plates getting knocked around when we open/close it... one of these days the china is going to get damaged and you-know-who will be madder than a tasmanian devil backed into a tight spot!

Good morning all,

IIABSDISEI with temps near 70.  Happy St. Patrick's Day!   I did weights and dribbled the soccer ball around the outdoor track for two laps (about 1.5 miles) at YMCA.  The "saucy wench" is also my barber so I had a haircut as well. Watched parts of "Dancing with the Stars".  Lucas had some bad news about summer work.  He was supposed to have 15 hours a week at the library and he went there yesterday to see if he could get more hours.  Instead they told him two other people wanted more hours during the summer and so they had none for him.  At least he found out now but I wonder if and when they were going to tell him.  Maybe he will find full time work elsewhere.  Long day at work but actually accomplished something.  Beacon is lit. I had bran muffins on the dining car for breakfast this morning.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,,

ShockWhistling  Everyone have a great day.  BTW: cloudy and rainy.  Nothing new.  I do think it is suppose to clear out sometime today.   Later

Top O' da Mornin' to yuz boys.  Happy St Patty's Day.  Damp and 41 here in the green hills of the Mid-Atlantic region.  Everyone's getting new engines but me.  Gotta work OT tonight for those who revel too hardy.  Maybe a donnybrook or two, or tree.

All this talk o' keepin' the lasses safe from evil suitors wid' ill intentions.  Nothing a cement pill box and some razor wire in the front of the dwelling can't fix.

Brutus - MAybe the only 3 rail engine that actually looks at home on o-27....and it's green!

MichRR - Nice engine.  Would be better green.

So let me get this straight... I'm supposed to buy Susie-Q a present on my b-day? Confused Oh and the one she wants IS Energy Star compliant! Thumbs Up Need to get some other stuff paid off before we do that though. We want to get the stove and dishwasher when they do their '10, 20, 30' event, or what ever it is, at Sears. I wonder if they consider a garbage disposer an appliance during those events...

Chief - I didn't wear green today either... I wore red instead! Smile

88 - Yes.

laz - Ol Mil come in green?

Ole Timer - Always love seeing those McMansions springin' up right beside I-70.  Nuts.

Chief - You should avoid being pinched at your age.  Those bruises could last for months.

Happy St. Patrick"s day

Happy birthday, Brent

We  have a sunny chilly morning, but going into the 60s today..An excellent day for the middle of March in Mich. I'm not sure what today will bring but I am ready. The boyz kept me up past bed time last nite as we had a chat line going with RT,Brutus, Charlie,Doug tried but was not from home so couldn't get in. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. That should last till noon. I stopped at White Castle yesterday and was suprised to see that the 12 cent hamburger was now 67 cents.Wow. Enjoy your day, drink but don't drive,...S.J.
