HI GIZ,
JOHN and many more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW a MTH Reading T1 your the king now JOHN, Have FUN RUNNING that BIG ENGINE. Where did you get it at COOLTRAINS or BARRY?
I went pheasant hunting on Saturday. Me and my bro got a bird each, woohoo flushed 5 total caught us sleeping but we did manage to calm down after the first two misses and connected on the second ones. The last one flushed wild, about 50 yards in front of us. But lots o fun then had fire with burgers and dogs with beer. Good time.
Today I had the dreaded parent teachers conferences. Oh well no parents again. Got my budget in for next year and built two train shelfs for rolling stock. Made them 4 ft X 4ft. easier to handle and put up down stairs.
MITCH good luck with the adopted grand kid.
Oh yea BEARS WIN!!!!!!!
It wasn't pretty but we will take it.
Good nite.

Hey Chief, don't worry about them ohier boys, ain't no football team outside of the SEC worth a darn. I enjoyed the jokes.......only too true. John, happy birthday! Hope you spend it doing what you want to do, with friends and loved ones with you.
Chief, got your message, we actually were at dinner. MIL is here and I already cooked one meal for the day. As to the movie, no, we were not in it, but we did help pay for it. I work with the guys who wrote and directed and lead acted, every Sunday at church. We are all on the media team and the one guy is associate pastor. Great bunch and very talented.
Have a great day everyone. Dennis

Happy Birthday John!
Great day in Columbus, they fired the coach of the Blue Jackets Hockey Team. Fans were getting really restless with all the losses. Seats were empty in the arena owned by Nationwide.
Well it's official. We will be heading to Bethelehem, PA for Thanksgiving and I of course will get to visit those great eastern train stores and the firestation layouts.
See ya down the tracks,

Thanks guys,
Laz, I got this one at Barry's. It runs on the 042 at the old end of the layout, but doesn't look comfortable doing it. Guess I will break done and change the outer loop to 054. I have the space on the layout & should have built it that way but didn't. Now it is going to be a lot more work, but everything will run better.

JOHN One of my favorite Yanks. He lived in NC and is a hobby farmer.
Went to the pond this PM. Walked and heard shots. The boys from the top of the hill were walking around shooting. Had pitbull with them [the one that attacked me and then the Police Chief] that is supposed to be chained or will be destroyed. When I said something about it to Pee Wee, he grabbed his colar and drug him home. Dog really did not try to act up but he did not want him too as I was armed. Time he attacked me was a surprise as I had been around him since he was a pup. I wasn't armed until I got back to the truck. I kept kicking him in the chest everytime he leaped at me until Pee Wee grabbed him. I went to truck and he tried to jump in the window. That is when he met the pistol. Pee Wee grabbed him just before I would have shot him. I did not report it because it was the boys' dog. Then he atacked the Police Chief at the ball park. He called animal control. Been declared vicious and was to be destroyed but the boys paid a fine twice and got him back twice. He is supposed to be chained at all times. Next thing was all three had shotguns. Well, one of the older ones is on intensive probation [two counts of B&E]. He can not have a weapon. I think the one is not the one the Police Chief thinks is the one. That is due to nicknames. I know them as nicknames and he knows them as their real names. I have tried to help these boys, bought rods and reels for them, given them lures, taken them fishing in my pond boat, let them fish my private pond and talked to them but they just get in trouble and cause me trouble. Then when cornered, they lie to me. Some people you just can't help. Cough, cough [dry hacking one]. Took meds so I will be going to sl e e p. [ Codeine can become habit forming]

Good morning all,
It is cloudy and cold in SE Indiana with temps maybe hitting the low 50s today. Happy belated birthday, John! I had a wonderful evening last night, dining with 25 of the most lovely ladies in the world as the soocer team's coach invited me to attend the award's banquet. I had prepared a message to the team for her to read and she decided to invite me to be there. I usually ask one of the parents to take a team picture for me, but I was able to do so myself. It was a very good night. Then when I got home, there was a message from an indoor league wanting some one to ref their games. So this may turn out to be quite lucrative as well. We shall see. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a gloomy 41 degrees. Only going up to 52 today, with a chance of rain showers later today. Need some sunshine.
Today, we are grocery shopping in Cambridge. Lots of fun. Gas prices are starting to creep back up. $ 2.14 is the cheapest around here. They sure like to play with the economy.
I may run trains later this afternoon. Have all the Christmas lights ready to put up. Trees grew and now I need an extra string on 3 of them. And they are higher. This will be interesting. I got a new Christmas lawn decoration. A train with tender and 2 cars. Lights go around on the wheels. Looks like they are moving. I'll take some pics.
Dining Car just called for " All Aboard ". Breakfast.
Y'all have a great Tuesday.
And....again....HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN !!!!!!!

Our great Native Americans [I still call them Indians] once said, "Be careful of trading with Pilgrams." "They sneaky." BTW: Those New England Yanks think they are something because they came over on the Mayflower. Us Southerners were here first in VA, NC, SC, GA, and FL.
Now that I have bashed my New England Yank, sunny and warm here. Off to visit my other female Dr. She insists on me coming by for a visit due to the cold not getting better and I am traveling out Thursday AM. Another day shot. Youngest is coming for a couple of nights. Will grill chickens, boiled potatoes and something green. Might have potatoes boiled and ready and let wife make her famous potato salad. [extra good because it contains he wonderful homemade sweet pickle relish] I hope you Yanks are taking lessons on how to have great meals.
Marty, sorry for the hoilday work. Looks like my last trip until sometime in Jan. is this week end to Omaha. Suspending all training and etc until after the New Year. Wife smiled and said that means you can work on the layout. YES!!!! [if the Town and County will let me alone]
John B, I use Adaware SE and it does a great job of blocking "cookies" and adds and then the Norton Internet Security has spam blocker. Only thing is, you have to check the blocked list every day as some good mail will go there too. That is due to my level I have set to block spam.
Later.
Don
Another rainy day here to get better as the day goes on?
JELECTRIC, I think it would be a good idea to run the T1 on 0-54 track got to make it look comfortable. I know what you mean with the smaller track just doesn't look right. Did you get a good deal from BARRY?
AK KEVIN, -30-35 WOW is that normal? It sure is cooold?
BUCKEYE, have fun in Bethlehem. Too bad I'll be 2hrs away. If you get a chance go downtown and check out the TALLY HO for a "HO" burger and a few beers. Thats if you get tired of turkey?
All have agood one.
Gee, here we are adding to Kevin T's spam. every time we post here. He's not talking about regular 'ol spam. He's getting an email from the forum every time there's a post to the forum. Sounds as if he has done everything - in terms of un-checking things under Update Profile. Let's see how long it takes for your setting changes to take root.
Thanks for the good wishes guys.
Laz, I think I got a good deal. It is amusing the way those guys work. I deal with Mike and then he goes in the back room to confer with Barry, back and forth that way.
A little controversy on these T-1s. They come with white rims on the drivers and leading truck & yellow handrails. The MTH catalog shows them all black. Mike called after I got home and said they had another customer complain and they took it back, asked if I was happy & I said yes. I checked my print resources and some internet sites and found prototypes painted in many variations. Since I am using it as a passenger engine (the originals were actually designed and primarily used as freight engines, only a few were used to pull passenger consists.) I like the colors, makes it look classy. Besides I am not a true rivit counter, left that behind when I left HO.
Kevin, Don't think I will be moving to Alaska any time soon, I get cool when the temp goes below 80.
Typing this at daughter computer. I am sitting with the 3 & 5 year old while baby sister and Mom are at the Drs. Got a surprise when I arrived. The 5 year old baked me a cake in her easy bake oven, so we had a little birthday party for three.
Got to go they want to play.
Jon

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN!!!!!!!" src="/trccs/emoticons/icon_smile_bday.gif">
I turned 43 last week - went to Spamalot on Saturday then had pizza with some family and friends and back home for cake and Boston Creme Pie (benefits of being a border state)! I got a gift card for iTunes, so need to figure out 15 songs I really want (and don't already have).
Chief - It would be too bad if that dog just disappeared off the face of the earth, never to be seen again.
Doug - You may be right about the gas prices since the election!
Instead of regular pancakes Sunday morning, this week I want powder sugar donut pancakes. I don't have any idea how they are made, but they have got to be Good!
Laz - sounds like you had a good time. Hey, on that CNS Router -- can you import files from other CAD programs, like TurboCAD?
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
