TOM yes My wife and I will be there on Friday all day.
We will be taking a personal day so we can get to see it all.
There is about nine different halls to go through so you do need the time.
We can meet a a certain time in the big dealer hall, I think its the orange hall if YUZ GIZ want?
We will talk more when time gets near.
Maybe even have a secret hand shake?
Or something to know its a OTTS member?

Morning all!

LAZ & Spanky - I'm going to York also. We will have to set up a meeting at the Funnel Cake stand [dinner] in front of the Silver/Blue Halls. An OTTS and Taxus Group meeting! Then we storm the CTT booth [oX)] (and shake the white powder suger off).

Beautiful day here [8D] - headed for 70. Maybe 80 tomorrow and rain on Wed [yeah]

Got my K-Line 4-6-6 Tank engine and the last 2 cars for the Empire State Express. Got to find some time to get some photos. Might be tough.

Busy this week and then next week is Spring Break and several of us are taking our boys skiing in CO.

Have a great one all!

Good morning. Nice sun filled day here with temps in the 50s to 60s perhaps. Went to the Dr. this AM for regular blood pressure and cholesterol checks. My son is back here for another day or so working. Two weekends in a row. He works in Michigan so we appreciate every chance he can visit. Have a good day.

Less than a week to go until the Sopranos starts up again. Anybody here watch that show? I do. But in all honesty, some of those episodes give me nightmares. I guess I wouldn't make a good made man. Supposedly, this is the final season, so a lot of interesting things could happen.

JIM,
I'm a BIG fan of TONY and DA BOYZ.
Also a big fan of DEADWOOD.
Hope they give us a intro to where the Sopranos left off. I can't remember back 2 yrs ago?

Laz,

You might want to on-demand Season 5 this week to refresh your memory. I remember that Chris' girlfriend got whacked, and Johnny Sacks got busted, but Tony escaped capture. I've heard a lot of rumors, but we'll see how it all shakes out.

Just had to pass this on......

HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE TWO DUCK HUNTERS FROM WISCONSIN? ??No ??
ABSOLUTELY A TRUE STORY HEARD ON A WISCONSIN RADIO STATION REPORTING ON THE INCIDENT.

A guy buys a new Lincoln Navigator for $42,500.00 (with monthly payments of
$560.00). He and a friend go duck hunting in mid-winter; and of course all of the
lakes are frozen.

These two guys go on a lake with their GUNS, a DOG, and of course the new
NAVIGATOR. They decide they want to make a natural looking water area for the ducks, something for the decoys to float on. Now making a hole in the ice large enough to invite a passing duck, is going to take a little more power than the average drill auger can produce. So, out of the back of the new Navigator comes a stick of dynamite with a short 40 second-fuse.

Now our two Rocket Scientists, afraid they might slip on the ice while trying to run away after lighting the fuse (and becoming toast, along with the Navigator), decide on the following course of action:
they light the 40 second fuse; then, with a mighty thrust, they throw the stick of dynamite as far away as possible. Remember a couple of paragraphs back when I mentioned the NAVIGATOR, the GUNS, and the DOG...???
Let's talk about the dog: A highly trained Black Lab used for RETRIEVING.
Especially things thrown by the owner. You guessed it: the dog takes off across the
ice at a high rate of speed and grabs the stick of dynamite, with the burning 40-second
fuse, just as it hits the ice. The two men swallow, blink, start waving their arms and, with veins in their necks swelling to resemble stalks of rhubarb, scream and holler at the dog to stop.
The dog, now apparently cheered on by his master, keeps coming. One hunter panics, grabs the shotgun and shoots the dog. The shotgun is loaded with #8 bird shot, hardly big enough to stop a Black Lab. The dog stops for a moment, slightly confused then continues on. Another shot, and this time the dog, still standing, becomes really confused and of course terrified, thinks these two geniuses have gone insane. The dog takes off to find cover, under the brand new Navigator. The men continue to scream as they run. The red hot exhaust pipe on the truck touches
the dogs rear end, he yelps, drops the dynamite under the truck and takes
off after his master.
Then """"""""""BOOOOOOOOOOOOM""""""""""!!!! The truck is blown to bits and
sinks to the bottom of the lake, leaving the two idiots standing there with.....
"I can't believe this just happened" looks on their faces. The insurance company says that sinking a vehicle in a lake by illegal use of explosives is NOT COVERED by the policy. He still had yet to make the first of those $560.00 a month payments...The dog is okay...

Hello everyone,
Well, I was lucky today, no homework, but a little studying to do. That is good, because after doing that project, I do not want to do anything else. Wait, I have a project due next Friday, just great.

JIM, thanks for the update on the SOPRANOS.
What a shame that ADRIANNA had to get whacked.
What a great looking girl. She was just on a HBO made movie I think Precent 13 or somethink like that. Looking good just like before.

Have a good nite.

Evening guys. I am jealous about York, never been there. As to the Sopranos, One of the firestations I worked at was high about Rt 17 over looking the club where they film the show. Never saw the show, but I been to the club a time or two. It is known as the Badda Bing Club, but is really Satin Dolls.
Chief, good to have you home. Hope you can catch up on some rest before Savannah. the only train station I am aware of there is Bull ST. Station. Mostly the small stuff, not much in the O guage.
Anyway, have a good night,
Dennis

Evening everyone,

It was a crazy day at work today. If you remember, a few weeks ago I had to do a Superintendent's hearing for some students who got in a lot of trouble, not only in school but with the law. Now today I hear from a lawyer that they are challenging the rulings made that day. Should make for some interesting days ahead.

The weather is supposed to be in the 60's by the end of the week. Maybe spring is just around the corner!

Have a nice night.

Roseyville Town Board meeting is over. The Chief had to arrest two goats for eating the Mayor's roses. [:0][;)] [I wi***hat was what is going on] Now for some train time. Ran a couple of engines for the first time in a week and a half. Never gone that long since I put the first short straight track down a couple of years ago. Tom, got a tomato plant about 5 inches tall now. Transplanted it to a bigger pot so it can really grow. Got three others about 4 inches tall. Microwave popcorn time. [^] Later

Good morning from Gettysburg, PA where it is currently 29 degrees. Supposed to be mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 40s.

TomS - I love it when attorneys get involved. All most attorneys care about is winning and forget about what is right or fair. I am dealing with an ugly custody case now. I am sure that I will eventually be subpoenaed to court. Fun, fun. I hope it all works out for the best.

Chief - I hope you didn't have to throw the goats into the pokey[;)][;)] It would make for a tough clean up at the jailhouse. Some home grown tomatoes sure sound good. Those store bought things have about as much taste as the cellophane they come wrapped in.

Have a great day.

Combine the Chief's goat case with the dynamite story and you've got "Jimmy the Dynamite Eating Goat" episode of the Andy Griffith Show.

I have been scratchbuilding some conifer trees using sticks and furnace filter material and yesterday I painted a bunch of them. They look great! I've made about a dozen so far and paint them different shades of green. Gotta love it!

Gonna approach 60 degrees towards the end of the week. Gotta love that too! My cold is getting weaker. Aside from the block of cement feeling in my nose, I'm feeling ok.

I received a free issue of Model Railroader the other day. Great issue too. Inside was an add for Bachmann HO track, which looks very much like Lionel's FasTrack. The ad shows the track as is sitting on carpet, and ballasted on a layout. The ballasted version looks great. I might try ballasting my FasTrack instead of painting it. I've been looking at ballast in my area and notice that it seems to be a dark pinkish gray color.

Hello all,
Off today. Received a Gilford Station I won on ebay yesterday. Looks good and works well. I'm anxious to get it cleaned up and on the layout.
Few years back we had goats as a 4-H project with the girls. They were a lot of fun. Crazy animals.
Sunny out and I've got lots of studying to do.
