Good Morning all
We're filling up pages fast .. ..
Clear and cool. Going to work around the house and prep for the sermons this weekend as I am on for all three Masses. A guy from work is interested in buying my fifth wheel. It had some water damage and I plan on redoing it, but if I sell it as is we will just get another one. We are looking to downsize from our current 29' to a 26 or 27'.
Chief - I'm glad you found Buckeye's car, it is very valuable.
Fife - Have fun with the bride, it is good to get away!
May God bless
Jim
dbaker48 Chief, I can see why you had such a hard time finding the car, in amongst all the scenery. Are all those black cars dummies?

Nope!!!
Morning all. Guess my close friend and ally, Buckeye has not gotten up this AM. After all, he is from the great state of Ohio that is in the wonderful North. That is where they eat gooood cream of wheat instead of grits. He also wears that beautiful Yankee blue when he is not wearing the great Ohio State Buckeye red.
Cold this AM. Planning on heading to the lake house to take some new furniture up and some plywood [a backing for the wall where the faucet set and shower head goes. Got to go back around Wed. and build a wall for the end of the tub and shower. Then bath will be finished. Wife has cooked little link sausages and pancakes. God get them while they are hot. Have a good one.
God bless TCA 05-58541 Benefactor Member of the NRA, Member of the American Legion, Retired Boss Hog of Roseyville , KC&D Qualified
ChiefEagles Buckeye Riveter jonadel Oh, Mr. 88 and Mr. Buckeye---so well said, I'll leave it at that. I had a real snotty reply about this "issue" already to send but I won't. It's not my dime, it's their's. Jon............I knew you wouldn't believe the part about the worms, so here is the web page so you can check it out for yourself. http://bassboatcentral.com/index.htm Speaking of worms. Notice that one slimed and squirmed in to vote down the stars on the new Pot and does the same for SPF. Makes him feel real important. IGNORE. One day I will put him on a hook and catch a big fish with him. Patrick, $48 for NASCAR expansion sets on Choochoo. No bids so far.

Mornin' boys. Mornin' Fergie. So nice of you to drop by. It's their show folks
As soon as wifey rises and makes herself more beautiful, we'll be heading out to play in Allegany, Hampshire and Mineral Counties. Calling for SNOHIZO overnight, so might get some good shots trackside.
njalb - Are you showing us all the LIONEL stuff you've placed on order...
Don
Thx Njalb, and I was just getting ready for bed
Chief = did you release the brake? Maybe it's full of bedbugs? Hey, that green combine looks nice there
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Now where did I put it?????? I think it has a red top???????
I found it!!! I found it!!!!
How about a few boxcars from OZ
I sign off for a few hours and WWIII starts!
Train car destruction. Mystery. Floods. 8300 sq. ft. houses. Powell slams. 13 hour road trips. PCs dead on delivery. A beautiful 773 to distract us. Time Warner. Chuck getting lit up, kicks the font size up a notch. Rich lives. Chief contemplating jumping ship, then has a senior moment. A romantic getaway to the lakehouse delayed. A naked OH car and a MI car too. #13. Firefox dilemma. Catalog preview. A lesson on IT meltdowns, hardware, software, and servers. A Kalmbach nastgram contemplated. A forgotten Kalmbach customer sevice pledge. AF 3 rail. The still missing "ditto" smiley. Bass Boats and worms. Laz is bummed. Tardis ready to launch.
Well, that about sums it up, except for the challenge that we achieve Pot FEB #4 by month's end. I can smell the servers smoking already.
Jack
IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.

Jim they are online (Lionel). At the bottom of the page there are options. You can crop a page to what ever you want. Then you have the option to save it as a jpeg file! A new look for a Lionel catalog

lionroar88My problem with The Gauge is it is a pain in the *** at best to work with, I just don't like their format.
Bet you have not been to the new one [that is really the original one].
http://www.the-gauge.net/forum/index.php
Real easy and a bunch of us are there too. [BTW: Buckeye, stay away from Bass Boat Central. My buddies will get you.] Some of the problem is the big scrolling ads. But that helps pay for this so we can't complain.
Cold outside. Waiting till tomorrow to go to the lake house. Too late when I got back from the meeting about Stimulus Package. Suppose to warm up tomorrow and then drop to a mix of rain and snohio early Sunday morning. Then gone. No wonder we have "pewmonia". Temps up and down.
Now let me see, where did I put that box car? You know the one with the big heart on it. Seems it had big OH on it too. Senior moment I guess. Now I know it has to be around here somewhere. ??????? OH WELL, maybe it will turn up one day.
Now for a little train time upstairs. Later.
BUMMER!

Buckeye Riveter lionroar88 I've been telling you the problem is either the software or the hardware. With the new site there are a TON of pictures and those hog bandwidth. My problem with The Gauge is it is a pain in the *** at best to work with, I just don't like their format. And the other site well... I can spend about as much time there as I can in 300 degree water.I really think they need to upgrade their servers and figure out what it is that they have misconfigured in the software.... this 'Please create a new thread every 15 days' is beyond stupid. It took me a day to get caught up in the last thread now I have to read 2 threads to get caught up... something aint right... 88....I agree completely. There are fishing websites that handle thousands of participants and postings without a problem with ads for boats, tackle and even worms. I believe that the people at Kalmbach have forgotten their founders instructions: Kalmbach Publishing Co. is proud of its long tradition of customer service, and we are committed to developing and maintaining relationships with our customers. After all, as our founder Al Kalmbach stated, "The customer is the boss of us all." From my point of view, their computer people are using the old IT management style of about 15 years ago. Every periodical in the country is putting more and more emphasis on web interaction with their customers, while it appears that Kalmbach believes that paper and ink are the wave of the future.

LawsonFarmsRR Maybe we need to put the word "Train " in each of out posts. Would that make them happy? I must be missing something. What is the difference between continuing the thread until Mar. 1, or starting a new thread and linking it to the previous thread? Patrick

About 2 - 3 months befor you came they switched the forum host and ever since its been a pain running very slow and all. And they have come to the conclusion that the main cause for it being slow is our long threads and multi page threads. we were told back a while ago that we were going to have to start a new coffee shop the first of the month if I remember right that was like the middle of January well come 1 Feb we had to do it. well now the 20th of Feb its now the first of the month again according to there calender ( in other words our 50+ pages is to many.)
Evening guys!
Has anyone heard of Ticket to Ride board game? Bride brought it to my attention, sounds addicting! http://www.daysofwonder.com/tickettoride/en/
The web game tutorials are more help than the video regarding game play.

Edit: Looks like the star nub struck again already. For someone that dislikes the pot they sure spend a lot of time in it.
