Naturally the Fall Foliage is everywhere...
Time to pull out of Osier and head towards Toltec Gorge to the South in New Mexico.
ust before we pull out of Osier, Colorado I got the chance to sit in the cab of D&TS #488 (K‑36) for a quick photo shot by my wife.
No, I didn't get to stay there but it would have been great if I could have!!!

On the side track is D&RGW #6200 Flat Car (6200 Class)

The Section House
The Depot / Station
We reach Osier, Colorado (CO) - Elevation 9,637FT 318 Miles from Denver, CO
We can also see the Stock Pen and Dining Hall where our HOT/FULL LUNCH will be served.
Here you can see Osier Depot/Station, Section House and Tank
Looking to the South/Right you can see Cascade Creek going into the canyon
We can now see Osier, CO in the distance
We curve back to the North
Looking back at Cascade Trestle
As we cross Cascade Trestle you can see Cascade Creek below
Just before we reach New Mexico we turn North East. You can see Cascade Trestle ahead
Looking back as we turn Easterly...
We continue south along the river...
We cross the Rio de Los Pinos river
As we pass the Los Pinos Tank we make a big sweeping turn to head South again.
We reach Los Pinos Tank which is near the North most section of line.
As we complete the curve this Lake comes into view but I don't know it's name
We countinue around the corner heading towards Los Pinos Tank
Taking this trip in the Fall is a wonder show...
