As they say it pays the bills. It did pave the way for the whole loco wrap advertising money that VIA subsidises  themselves with,at  least this  locomotive was a cross country promotion for both Home Hardwares aniversary that year ( 50 yrs I believe ) and the grand prize was a return trip for two on the Canadian (which was pulled by two F40's painted that way.Big Smile [:D]

Lets see one more for the raod as they say. The only Witt type streetcar still owned by it's original purchaser ( and still useable] this car can be chartered for private runs in Toronto. Small Witt 2766 at Hillcrest shop bought in the 1923 Ottawa Car Co order !
