One of the more colourfull VIA units at Brantford. This loco's still painted this way as well as I saw it two weeks ago agin at the station.

We all live in a YELLOW submarine - a YELLOW submarine - a . . . . VIA F40PH looks <grim> in that color. <ugh> But, appreciate your dropping it off!

As they say it pays the bills. It did pave the way for the whole loco wrap advertising money that VIA subsidises themselves with,at least this locomotive was a cross country promotion for both Home Hardwares aniversary that year ( 50 yrs I believe ) and the grand prize was a return trip for two on the Canadian (which was pulled by two F40's painted that way.

Lets see one more for the raod as they say. The only Witt type streetcar still owned by it's original purchaser ( and still useable] this car can be chartered for private runs in Toronto. Small Witt 2766 at Hillcrest shop bought in the 1923 Ottawa Car Co order !
