Good Morning All:
A fine selection of steam power from all over.
UP 7000 was the first of their 4-8-2s. They had a handful of them numbered 7000-7039; 7850-7864; 7865-7869/ All were blt. by Brooks between 1921 and 1924. 29x28" cyliners and 73"drivers. They varied in engine weight but all had 54,838 tractive force.

PRR and NYNH&H - not bad. PRR S1 was exhibited at the World's Fair.
Hell Gate shots are good. First one, unless I have my diectiions mixed up is of a NH freight from Oak Point probably heading to Cedar Hill.

Morning folks , back in for another quick pic Looks as though people are going to be walking in TO the TTC did not ratify their new contract and hit the bricks at 10:30pm last night. not good at all , looks like back to work legislation is going to happen on monday.

Rob - Don't know whether duplex or triplex . . . Nice RDCs, but lead needs a bath! Don't know why, but the VIA didn't "do it" for me this time. Hmmmmm. Guess after all of the Classics we've been viewing for over three years at the bar, that livery just doesn't wind me up anymore . . . but, thanx for putting it up - it's a fine looking passenger train!

Steam, RDCs and a fine ACL postcard - with the competition above. PRR did a similar one which advertising the "Spirit of St. Louis." SHowed the train rushing along behind a K4 and Lindbergh's plane above -great peice of graphic art!
Hey Tom and the gang. Glad that you liked that RDC at North Van I love that old BC Rail paint job. Couple great posters there as well Shane I'd love to see that PRR one maybe the captain has a copy of it

G'day Tom , yes that lake steamer did have a large funnel. That is the Northhumberland built in Glasgow for the Canadian Govt's PEI ferry servcie accross the Northumberland strait to Nova Scotia. It came into NS&T service in 1920 replacing the much smaller and older packet steamer Lakeside. Ran until 1949 when she burnt in Toronto Harbour during the winter layup.Two triple expansion steam engine in that beauty built in 1903 if I remember correctly could do 20 knots.Another NS&T shot from the archieves.
