Saw an interesting obituary in the L.A. Times this morning for Jenny Wallenda who was part of the famous Wallenda High Wire Troupe. My best friend who died about three years ago worked with Jenny in 1957,58 and 59 as part of the seven person pyramid. She was 87. She rode a chair on top of the pyramid. They had a bad fall in Detroit in 1962 but Jenny was not working that night and her cousin took her place but survived the fall. However, Jenny's husband was killed along with one other member of the group. Her grandson is Nick Wallenda who is the guy who has been doing walks over the Grand Canyon and Niagra falls on TV a few months ago
I went to a different care giver meeting last night near where I live. Met a lot of nice people. Hard for me to make this meeting because of my schedule. I usually go to another one twice a month but further from home.
Got a glimmer of hope a while back about an engine that MTH is repairing for me. They said they now have the part and would complete it soon but that has been a while. They have a long waiting period for repairs.
Sister in Virginia has taken a turn for the worse. She is in a bad way with her cancer. We are preparing ourselves for whatever comes.

A draining day at work, but got taxes done tonight for both feds and state. Fed refund, but owe the state. Relaxed watching Izombie tonight. Has a very "Veronica Mars" feel to it. Probably won't last long, but will enjoy it while it is on. Got some other good news as Simona will be running the Indy car race in New Orleans this weekend. It would be nice if she could run the entire season. I hope everyone has a good day.

Speaking of Rain: I heard on the news that even after all of this time California has been in this bad drought and have been asked to limit water use, they have only voluntarily reduced usage by 3%. That is not going to cut it. Hope they get more rain before something we all understand to well forces them to reduce usage. A water use tax..Nice video Doug, thanks for the link. You could not get away leaving that stuff behind here.Got the answers I needed for the two Marx projects I am working on for my uncle with help from others on the main CTT board. Now to get the parts and do the work.

But I have to drive a lot today, including bringing a whole bunch of old basement stuff to a local antiques store -who was intrigued by what I think is old junk when I described it to them at a chance meeting. Proud of youngest (who struggles with all sorts of learning issues) - got to go to a honors breakfast with him at the middle school very early this am. Love Marx tinplate especially!

So many roads, so little time.
A better day. No intestinal issues. Got my referee schedule for spring soccer. Busy at work, but not overwhelming. Good supper tonight. Went for a walk at lunch. Leg hurts some of the time then feels tolerable then hurts again. Will have to live with it for now until after the Mini. Then I can get it fixed. Started draining the oil out of the small Toro tonight. I hope everyone has a good day.
