I've got more burgers, fries, and the seafood extravaganza ready on the warmer bar.  So, everyone help yourselves, and had on out to the patio!!  When the sun goes down, I'll start the ice cream maker, and we'll have homemade ice cream, to go with the birthday cakes.

Good Friday morning, everyone!  Hope everyone had a good evening.  Sarah, glad you enjoyed your 21st birthday!!   And, you're welcome!!

Coffee is ready, juice is freshly made, and there's hot water for tea.

On the breakfast bar:  turkey bacon, sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, homemade buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, cantaloupe chunks, watermelon chunks, and Larry's and Mookie's bear claws.

I'm on the run this morning:  have a doctor appointment at 9:15, so I'm not sure if I'll be back in time for lunch today.  But I'm sure I've got very capable people around here, who can get our FRIDAY FISH FRY under way.

Morning all!  Must be a Friday as I've got a (cof, cof) case of Lazi-itis and it could be terminal, but likely not intermodal...

I'll wet a line or two to snag some fish.  Be back in a while, hopefully with some perch and crappie!

Joe, have Matt bring his fishing pole, who knows what he will catch;

I'm very sure we'll be able to use. ( so long as it isn't old boots, tires, etc.)

I think Mook must at "Secret Fishing Hole" in the Conference Room!!!Wink [;)]

Brian, be careful with that "Beer Batter", we don't need the fish "Flopping Around" Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Dan, Take a fishing pole and a six pack of favorite beverages, and go sit on a creek bank!!Thumbs Up [tup]

Hmm, still no sign of the Mookster!!  Hope she IS in a meeting, and not sick or anything!!  Since no one took over lunch, and I'm now back from my dr. appt., here is today's lunch menu:  FISH, FISH AND MORE FISH.

We have on the warmer bar:  cod, flounder, hallibut, perch, salmon and tuna fillets; also plenty of fries, cole slaw, and corn on the cob.  For desserts:  apple, cherry, peach and pecan pies, along with the prerequisite chocolate cake.

Now, I think I'm going to head out to the patio, and lie down in one of the chaise loungers, and take a nap!!

Good afternoon.

Hot and humid here today and no rain until at least Monday. That's about all the news I have for now. Just kind of a boring day, I guess.

I think I'll have some flounder and a slice of peach pie and head out to the patio to eat.

Back from round one of fishing.  I've got a limit of 25 crappies and they'll yield two filets each. Dinner [dinner] I'll head out and see if I can get some perch...they weren't biting before!

Brian how's that batter coming?

Oops, just need to stir it some (hopefully it hasn't fermented in my absence).  Crappie sounds good, I'll take some to go.  Gotta hit the road to just south of Minneapolis tonight for the weekend.  TTYAL...

Back from fishin' again!  Got 12 fresh perch and at two filets each that's another 24 to add to the ones from the crappies.  That batter looks about ready so in they go.  Should be ready pretty quick and then I'll snag a healthy plateful of fish!  Dinner [dinner]

Joe and Cannonball - I don't know. I'll see what I can do. The weather this year has been extremely difficult to forecast, it seems. One thing is for sure, it's either feast or famine. However, I'll try to send some rain to both of you.

My compliments to  Dan and Brian for the fish fry tonight.  Delish!!  (Plus, I get a night off!!)

Willy, while you're at it, think you might be able to "send some rain" down towards Louisville?  They say we won't have a chance of rain before Monday.   Earlier, on the noon news/weather, they said that by next week, when rain might possibly show up, our area will be over 5 inches below normal, for this time of year.  Grass is turning brown in several areas.  When I went to the dr. this morning, some idiot was cutting grass, that wasn't much more than dust!!  Started my nasal allergies , and I sneezed for ten minutes, after I got into the dr's office.

Hey guys, since you did the fish fry tonight, I'll get out the ice cream freezer and make some more ice cream:  we'll have vanilla, chocolate, peach,  and butter pecan, right around dusk.

Lance, hope you all stay safe and sound down there!!!!!!

I'll try my best to get some rain your way too, CW. The chance you have next Tuesday through Wednesday actually looks pretty good, so we'll see what happens.

Lance - stay safe. Hopefully the storms aren't too bad.

Good morning, everyone!  Bob, good to see you back in here!

Joe, thanks for fixing breakfast.  Those cinnamon rolls are really good this morning!  I had a couple, think that will be enough, along with my cup of coffee.

HAPPY ANNIVERSAY TO MARK AND TINA HEMPHILL!!!!!!!Thumbs Up [tup]Big Smile [:D]

We will have a special pizza tonight:  I've gotten the biggest pan I can find, and will be making a humongous pizza tonight, a very, very, very large MEAT LOVERS' PIZZA WITH THE WORKS ON IT.

Everyone have a terrific, safe and as cool a day as possible.

.....With the mention of a rain dance above....we seem to be needing one in this area too.  Morning paper states {info from water co.}, this period now is the driest  we've experienced in 19 years....!!!

//staggers in and sits in front of the AC

Just got done overhauling most of the yard.  Added flower beds, two fences, a hedge, numerous plants, a hammock (My own!  HAHAHAHA!), new eve troughs and downspouts, two outdoor receptacles and fixtures, low voltage lighting, and last but not least three white pines and an oak tree.  I'll have a big jug o' Gatorade then a nap until dinner.  Someone kick me when the 'za is done!

Bob, thanks for putting up the smiley!!  It does kind of look like me:  short and round.

Dan, today is one of those days that I definitely say "Thank you!!" for bringing in the big, industrial oven!!  It has really earned it's fire:  I just finished making and baking the very large, very huge MEAT LOVERS'/VEGGIE PIZZA for tonight.  Along with every kind of meat on it, also has anchovies and shrimp on it, along with the peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.

To get your pizza tonight, just open up the bottom door on the oven, and take out however many slices you want:  it's sliced, and waiting to be eaten.  JUST BE SURE THAT YOU USE THE POTHOLDERS, SO NO ONE GETS BURNED!!

Once again, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY WISHES TO MARK AND TINA!!

I hope everyone enjoys it tonight.  And, I hope the anniversary couple will be able to celebrate their big day, together!!
