What's the profile on the greedy railroad operators who killed almost a thousand people a year and spend NOTHING on safety equipment? Who when install and sell safety equipment to and for the tax-payers make a small fortune in overcharges. The profilers will probably have to go down below the whale dung to find this info.

At least drunk drivers have a excuse and show some remorse.

Ask if he can come up with how my buddy discovered he was a lefty, my buddy said the chances we high due to certain errors in spelling and style. Lefties have a harder time with the style because certain functions on keyboards are on the wrong side for them.
The profile my friend did is several pages long, with a lot of anotations and refrences, rather complete given all he had to work with were the postings. And I edited it some, because cabforward is right, younger readers dont need to read what a Oedipus complex is, but it makes sense. My buddy said at first, he though the "subject" may still live at home, with his mamma, but the times on some of the posting indicated he lived alone, momma wouldnt have let sonny stay up that late.
Keep me tuned in, I would love to see what yuor friend comes up with.
Stay Frosty,
Ed

Ed, I logged on at work and showed his postings to a Investigator who is currently studying to be a Internet profiler. He was fasinated with His postings for this is the kind of material they study in class. (Different subject but pattern of writing is the same.) He could not come up with a discription of what he looked like but did say this Guy is definetly a Lonesome Loser who is useing his computer to get attention. He plans to show his instuctor.

Wait a minute, lets see if I have this straight.
The blasting horn, ringing bell, loud as a small jet engine locomotive dosnt make enough noise, so that a crummy little beeper makes some kind of difference? And we dont have "running lights" thats on cars, trucks and boats. Phsst, I will let you in on a secret, we dont have brake lights or turn signals either.
And what was the goober doing stopped in the middle of a railroad crossing? another "stalled" truck? Thoses silly things, they never seem to stall anywhere else but in the middle of a crossing. Wi***hey would quit doing that, its hard on the paint.
Ed
By the way, whats your real name?

J,
This is really funny.
Yesterday, I printed up a persons postings, in chronological order, and sent them with my middle daughter, who was spending the night at a friends house. Her friends father and I have know each other on a personal and professional level for 20 years. He is a profiler who does work Texas Rangers, and the local office of the FBI.
He just droped off my daughter, and his findings.
Man, this is really rich.
I wont mention any names, due to not wishing to embarass the person profiled, besides, they do a fine and outstanding job of that all by themselves.
White male, middle age.
5'9" to 6' tall.
Weight 230 to 250lbs
Brown hair, thinning with male pattern baldness since early teens.
Wears glasses to drive.
Left handed, but forced to write right handed as a child. (got to ask how he got that)
Married, but divorced within two years of marriage, no children.
10 grade education, may possess a high school equivelency certificit.
Chronicly unemployeed, but is currently employeed in shift work, or assembly line work at slightly above minimun wage with no apparent carreer path .
Lives alone in a apartment, no pets, no hobbies.
Drives pre 1998 mid sized coupe or sedan, blue or black.
Social outcast since early childhood, lacking in social skills, due in large part to parental insistence.( had to call him on that, means he's a mammas boy, she kept him inside and wouldnt let him play with the "bad" kids)
Psychological.
Subject suffers from chronic clinical depression since puberty.
May have undergone involuntary treatment as a adolescent, but as an adult, no longer does so on a voluntary basis.
Deivant behaiviour.
(based on writen material only, no vocal sample offered)
Content analysis indicates no latent homosexuality, but does indicates a supressed Oedipus complex, in conjunction with a distinct fear of personal contact outside of immediate family.
Logic process.
Based on contex and style, subject exhibits a non-linear thinking process, with limited spatial processing evident in problem solving circumstances.
Criminal history.
No evidence of current criminal activity.
Minor automotive or traffic citations,
class c misdomeanor sexual misconduct,
no conviction or incarication.
Summary:
Subject feels ostricized by society, typicaly furstrated by the concept he is not getting what he deserves. Subject is a social outcast, prone to violent verbal outburst only under conditions that allow anonymity, in person will offer a meek and docile facade.
Subject may have tried to gain employment for a railroad, or may have been hired, only to have beed fired shortly thereafter.
Subjects early childhood would have been one where the dominent figure was a female, most likly subject's mother or aunt. No strong masculine figure appers to have been present during the subjects early development stages, through puberty and into adolescent and teenage years.
Subject was non-social during junior and high school years, most likely married the first woman he dated.
As is typical with most person who suffer depression, subject, on the surface, seems to posses a know it all attitude and an assured stance, but in reality lacks self confidence and self motovation. This subject is a follower, who lacks the ability to think in a linear fashion, (ie, from point A to point B to point C and so on), but also lacks the spatial logic to solve complex problems.
Subject exhibits Oedipus complex, simple.
Lacking a male role model, subject associates best with older, assertive women, and exhibits a sexual submissiveness to females who head a household.
Subject has no criminal history to speak of, although subject most likley has been cited for solicitaion.
Expect no overt criminal behaviour.
External appearence of subject would stand out in todays soceity, subject will perfer slacks, olive or kaki, dark loafers, light colored short sleeved shirt with oxford collar, no tie, non descript eyewear, no hat. Subject will appear to be a slightly older "nerd" but will often seek employment in traditionaly masculine jobs, railroader, truck driver, maritime, ect.
Lacking other material, I would suggest you look at other web sites involving transportaion, trucker sites and such for other messages from this subject. My gut feeling is this person will have issues with most types of professions he has either been rejected from or thoses he feels have treated him in an unjust manner.
Discount the portion of the postings dealing with the "loss" of a loved one. Pure fabrication lifted from a combination of other postings. Only in fiction is the term "lost" applied to persons. In reality, women use the term "passed away" or "passed on", and men traditionlay use the term died. Of note is the fact that the circumstances of the "loss" change from one statement to another, and there is no real thread or focus to this persons writing, besides an aggressive attempt to provoke anger from thoses he is writing to and about.
Consistant with the conspiracy theory, (they are out to get us concept)indicates this subject lacks the capacity for original thought, subject is a follower who picks up on anothers train of thought, (pun intended) and elaborates on the concepts or theories of thoses he mimics.
This subject is obssesive in their pursuit of what subject feels is justice, although subject make no clear statement or continuious concept as to what is wrong, or how it should be corrected.
Personally, I think you are dealing with a lonely looney toon.

Uh, wow.
Ed

Sounds like Goober belt pack operator was on the wrong side of the train dorko. Even tractor trailor drivers have their co-drivers get out and check what they are backing over. Called common courtesy and giveing a HOOT literally what they are running over. You don't have the right of way --- you have the common law duty to have the train seen and heard. Now get to bed because tommorow you might impress someone with your dribble.

What goober was stupid enough to put his truck in the way of a moving locomotive?
A train needs no authority from the public to operate on its right of way, its private property, and we can move in any direction we chose to, without your permission. We have the legal right of way. What part of that do you fail to understand? And if the crossing, in your opinion, needs a guard, please feel free to don whatever silly red, green or in your case, most fitting, yellow vest, your mickey mouse ears, and come on down.
Oh, and your home made rules will get you killed someday, try reading the GCOR, the current edition, april 02, 2000. The real railroad rules, instead of the nonsense you come up with. Sure you dont want to go and bother air traffic controllers?, I hear they fall asleep a lot. And allow airplanes to fly over your house, without your premission, and dont provide umbrella gaurds
on your roof to protect you from falling debris.
By the way, say hello to Ralph Nader for us.
And are you ever going to work up enough cajones to tell us who you really are, and who you work for, or are you just as much of a coward as mike p?

A red flag means nothing to the public. If your load is sticking out more than 5 feet you put a red flag on it. A crossing guard is like a person in a red vest with a stop/slow paddle sign in their hand. a train whistle is like a train whistle. Running lights include head lights/ditch lights. Backwards means a reverse movement authorized by WHO? The train crew that wasn't there? Goober on the other side of the train with the little belt pack he forgot to put under the train wheels? Who authorized this train movement with a truck in the way?

I can give you 2 differant answers to your qquestions. this is what you would like to hear call a cop and have the railroad and the crew ticketed for the m&m infractions. or the logical one is there is no such thing as running lights for trains other than a end of train device a flashing red light or red reflector. but if its a cut of cars there is no reason for it. also a red flag is suitable for end of train. I have no idea what a road gaurd is. as far as backing up over city streets its fine not a violation of any kind. and there is no need to have a beeper or a horn on the rear. and as far as those beepers go i wi***hey stick those up the manufacture back end. they are anoying and serve no perpose if you watch what you are dooing they wouldnt need them. (never mind that last staement these are the same people who dont stop look listen or live)

I find CSX in vilolation of no running lights on the rear of the train---no whistles on the rear of the train----no road guards on the rear of the train---and driveing backwards across city street without beepers going off on a commercial vehicle.
