I learned a lot recently about bridge engineering. Not sure when I'll be able to use this new found knowledge, but there should come a time when I can effectively do the old "Clifford Klavin" routine on someone, don't you think?

Not sure what you're sorry for, but apology accepted-don't do it again!!![:P]. Maybe it was was spelled with a "C". My comment had to do with the inordinate amount of superfalous knowledge I tend to collect in my brain![:)]. I mean, who else but Clifford Claven and I could talk about the comparitive firepowere of WW I battleships?and other "stuff"'.

I've learned (no, really) on this forum that WAYYYY too many posters take things too seriously. Lighten up a bit- ...(lets all hold hands together and sing)...
Let the Sun Shine In,
Take it with a grin,
Blah,Blah,Blah,Blah,Blah, blah-
And something -sun shine in.

I learned that either the people on this forum are the nicest, most well behaved people of ANY forums I goto on the web (not just railroad forums), OR the other websites must be some of the worst dumps, containing the worst possible mix of people in the universe. [:o)][:p]

We have specially designed freight cars to haul bad guys out of here and off to forums where they belong.

Murph - It's spelled "superfluous". Then again, I've never misspelt anything!

FutureModel: That may have been a superfluous statement. But then, I've been known to make typo's.[:)]

I learned that the Great Northern must have had a dozen different logos over the years-nearly all featuring Rocky the goat.

Amen Brother. [:)]

I learn new things from the forum, from forum members (by email, phone, or letter) and at work. Many threads, some with very few posts, can teach us things everyday if we are willing to learn. [:)]

Yes the forum has a few trolls, and some love to copy topics and keep them going. [V]

But overall it is a good place to hang out and learn new "stuff." [:D]
