You are brave! You may need a support dog to keep all your support women at bay! Or should I say under the seats!
I was managed by a support wife for more than 35 years. That was all the support I could handle.
Actually, I understand the role domestic animals can play in helping people deal with emotional problems brought on by illness, death of a loved one, etc. I have seen well behaved dogs and cats on airplanes, Amtrak, and Carnival Cruise Line. I don't have a problem with it. But I would have a problem if a guy with a Boa wrapped around his neck sat next to me on an airplane. Or anywhere for that matter.
My support was with me for almost forty years. However, since Amtrak did not have support fares then, I had to pay the same for her as what I paid for me so she could travel with me; at least I did not have to more for her to occupy the space with me (though, for several trips there was no space designation on her space ticket; it was only for the last few trips that it was shown that she was to occupy the same space with me); despite that, we always occupied the same space.

The article noted that the airlines were bound by the Air Carrier Access act of 1986, whereas Amtrak is bound by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991. ADA has a much stricter deifinition for service animal than the ACA regulations. Amtrak's note on the transport of ADA compliant service animals states that Amtrak reserves the right to remove service animals for defecating on the train, biting and other such misbehaviors - legal under the ADA as it is no longer a reasonable accomodation.
The article aso mentioned that people who were allergic to animals also had rights under the ADA which conflicts with the ACA.

And it would depend upon someone else on the train having the emotional support 'mouffette', and (heavily) upon what excuse there was for getting the right, or rather as things turn out wrong, sort of white stripe on the kitty...
