Here and on Classic Trains, the number of topics/post as demised by 50 to 70%. No a direct count, use to have a lot more to read every night, some topics very meaty with lots of technical nits and grits. Since the upgrade, its "where did everyone go?" There have been two major derailments (coal trains and bridges don't seem to mix) that should have had loads of discussion. Not a trace. Is the format keeping people away, sucking the last few brain-cells away in just trying to figure how it works, or has it become more child-like and thus this is no longer has the feel of a place for discussion?

Yes, I know about Facebook and tweets, but to someone who manages IT development for a leaving I don't want to to friend the world just to discuss the sound of a cast brass vs steel bell on a GP-35.
