Good Friday morning  everyone.  Man, it's been a wild weather time here in the Metro Louisville, south and east of us since around 3 a.m.  Flash flood watches, t-storm warnings, and a tornado warning in Hodgenville, Larue County, KY, about 60 miles south of Louisville.  Fortunately, haven't heard of any homes damaged, or people injured, etc.

Coffee, juices, hot chocolate, hot cider, and hot water for tea are ready to go.

On the breakfast/warmer bar this morning:  bagels, bear claws, caramel pecan rolls, doughnuts - all kinds, ranging from cake to yeast, to long johns w/your choice of vanilla or cream filling, w/chocolate icing, to doughnut holes and blueberry,  and strawberry and chocolate chip muffins.

Joe, glad you and Stacey had a nice anniversary and got to see some long distance friends.

Everyone have a good morning, stay safe and dry, and take care.

Good morning! CW, thanks much for breakfast this morning!

I reckon fall has arrived here in the Dakotas. I have been up for barely a half an hour and the temp here in Sioux Falls is only 27 degrees. At least we are not seeing any snow in the forcast. Stay warm, folks!

Careful, there, Ms Mook.  We wouldn't want you to blow a gasket or anything....

Looking wet here today, but Sunday and Monday will be merely cloudy.  I'm not usually working the "pit" cooking chicken, so Sunday's weather is only a big deal if it keeps the customers away.  But I'm working on the railroad Monday, and I don't relish getting wet....

Back to the grind.

CW, you sure make it tough on those who are trying to control their weight. I love all of the Fish Fry items, and their accompanying sides, plus desert. Maybe I'll have to go out and work it off. See what you get me into.

Good Saturday morning, everyone.  Joe, thank you for getting breakfast ready this morning!  I decided to sleep in a little bit this morning, so that's why you made in before I did.  Sounds like you've got a good day ahead of you.

The rain is also out of our area.  Thank goodness!  Everyone here won't get waterlogged this morning, doing the Susan G. Kohman Race for the Cure, that will be starting about 9 a.m. this morning.  Going to be a very cool day, with a high of about 62, I believe is what I heard this morning.  But we'll have a mix of sun and clouds, so it shouldn't be too gloomy a day.

Everyone have a great day ahead, be safe on your outings, and take care.  See you all later on for our pizza fest tonight.

Joe, thanks for fixing breakfast for the rest of us. I'm hungry this morning.

I woke up within the last hour and we have a trace of snow on the ground here in Sioux Falls, and the temp here is only 24 degrees. Brrrr, it's cold!!

I hope the rest of you are all having a good day, and stay warm!

Good morning everybody. 74 degrees and fog in Carolina this morning. It is supposed to get up to 84 with rain and scattered thunderstorms today and tonight. I think I would pass on that game in Denver with freezing and snow. Unless the stadium is enclosed, it wouldn't be worth it for me. Everyone take care

Joe, thanks for breakfast.

Just got up. Hoping our high school football team won last night. Haven’t herd if they did or not.

MC, hope Denver does well. Looks like it’s going to be a cool one out there!

Looks like the rain here in Western Indiana has moved completely out! Not a cloud in the sky here and cool calm 36*! The first time this year in the 30’s!

Everyone have a safe, and good Saturday!

Justin

Ahem, aren't we forgetting someone's birthday? (hint, hint).

Six inches of snow this morning for most of Omaha, although the official airport total will probably be much less than that. Nevertheless, this is the most snow Omaha has ever measured this early in the season. Records go back to the 1880s, so this is truly historic.

Willy:  Happy Birthday!!Happy B-Day Happy B-Day Happy B-Day Happy B-Day Happy B-Day Happy B-Day

I am very, very sorry that I didn't wish you a Happy Birthday earlier:  I was even looking at my calendar, and saw today is your birthday, and still forgot to mention.  Guess I'm getting that dreadful Alzheimers' Disease.

Anyways, I've got the chocolate cake w/chocoate icing out of the oven and it has cooled and been iced and decorated.  Now, what would you like for supper tonight?!?!?!  Let me know, if you want something different than pizza or what you favorite kind of pizza is, and I'll get right on to making it!!

I think pizza will be just fine for dinner tonight. But if you could make a stuffed crust Italian Sausage pizza for me, that would be great.

A lot of our snow has already melted. That October sun is doing its dirty work.

First things first - Happy Birthday to Willy!  We were up and gone early this am, so barely had time to do a little farm work.  Don't pay much attention to my wall, so missed it altogether.

2nd - 6 inches of snow???  Really????  We struggled to get a little on the grass.  It spit snow all morning, but never did amount to much more than soggy sidewalks.

BNSF is dragging around a GP25 right now.  Came into the yard earlier this pm - not sure if we are keeping it or not.  Maybe it isn't really lost?  Fantastic paint job still on the old blue and yellow.  Still all marked Sante Fe, too.  Wonder where it has been hiding.  Maybe it was out on a "show and tell" mission?

Came in from the south.  Maybe Mizzourah - and maybe they thought it was one of the new engines?  Mischief

Take a look at the photos of the snow that I posted on my Facebook page. You'll probably be happy you're in Lincoln and not Omaha!

I think pizza will be just fine for dinner tonight. But if you could make a stuffed crust Italian Sausage pizza for me, that would be great.

Okay, Willy, you've got it!!  Here's our Saturday Night Pizza Fest menu:

1.  Stuffed crust Italian sausage  2.  Canadian bacon  3.  Pepperoni/mushroom  4.  Goetta  5.  Hawaiian  6.  Supreme  7.  Sausage/pepperoni calzones

I only made two extra large of each kind, since we've not been having that many people/patrons in here lately.   Plus, it'll save room for Happy Birthday Willy birthday cake and ice cream.

Willy, I hope you've had a very, very nice birthday so far, and may it continue to be the best ever, as you head into the evening hours.

Busy all day getting ready for the BBQ tomorrow - lots of salad (I sure cut up a lot of cabbage for the coleslaw!), among other things.  Five hundred chicken halves go on the grill around 8:30 for sale beginning at noon.

So, a rather late Happy Birthday to Willy!

Just 37 degrees as I write this.  We'll probably see some frost tonight.

As long as it doesn't rain on Monday while I'm working on the RR.

......Jen, put up the snow fence around the east side of Nebrasky, so it can't migrate any farther east.
