I need a strong cup of coffee, double shot of 'express'o. Who needs all night dancing? We have all night operating sessions![:-,]

We need to get a nice consist going for an [bow]S2[bow]. You can't just pull any old freight with it. It needs big, long trains.

"And we'll have fun fun fun"... until someone forgets to pay the electric bill.[:D]

A pair of C&O steam turbines,double heading?
Man! that would be a sight!
AND would love it,if it could happen!

Caught a picture of 490 at Huntington,before it went to Baltimore.(about 1968)
Yes, i know it wasn't a steam turbine,but was supposed to pull connecting trains!

MC....Yes, understand the west is critical on water needs....We were out of town for just about a week and upon returning I checked my rain gauge and we had received 1 1/2" in our absence. Rain has been just about right in this imediate area all spring. Perhaps less than an avg. spring but plenty to keep things growing, etc....Have mowed my yard 20 times so far this season so it must be refreshed enough.

.....Does that mean the Denver area will send that hot stuff on east for us to enjoy a bit later this week....Probably so. Saturday in Muncie we dedicated our 1901 former C & O Depot opening back to life. Abandoned for most of the last 2 decades except a brief usage by Amtrak right before that the Depot is now back to it's original glory and beauty. A brick building with real [brand new], tile roof and all refurbished inside and all new mechanicals including A/C'ing..It is now open as the Cardinal Greenway Trail Head and includes artifacts of rail lineage on display inside along with business offices of the trail and so on...$860,000 renovation. A real community asset and the trail is widely used.

<Strolls through front door>

Hey everyone! JJHTrainsPlanes informed me of the diners grand opening, so I decided to drop in. Now the party can start! I'm buying a round of drinks for everyone, pick what you want! For myself, I'll take a French Vanilla Cappichino. Let's turn on some tunes on the jukebox. How's Grand Funk Railroad's Locomotion? Let's get down!

And there's nothing wrong with DISCO!

Who will join me in cooking and/or baking, and what are you preparing?[:p][}:)]

got any mashed potatoes to got witht that meatloaf and corn on the cob?

Okay, we'll add mashed potatoes, and maybe some shelly beans with onions in them. And Noah, you'll be in charge of the cornbread (be sure to add buttermilk,
instead of regular milk: makes the cornbread taste better!)

Who's fixing dessert?! I can't do everything here: we ALL need help!!
