No 'Food Stamps' here, that would be breaking a federal law. There is however
a 'very' nice C & O "Allegheny" in brass that I wouldn't mind having.[:D]

Oh well, doesn't hurt to dream,does it[?][:D]

Personally I likes cats very much particularly the tabby cats. Get a dozen if you like; more cute fuzzy creatures to pet, the better.

Good idea Mook; we don't need those critters in the diner/coffee shop OR
on the train layouts. Layouts would be destroyed, and we do not want
authorities closing us down because of the varmints.

Have chicken on boiling; we'll have chicken and dumplings tonight. [:p][:D]

Are you sure its chicken????

In my area, there has been a number of stupid accidents involving people. Not that long ago, a teen tried to hitch a ride on a Buffalo bound CN freight going slow. He fell off and got his arm and leg cut off.

Another person decided that a stopped train was o.k to cross and walk over the couplers of a train. The train started up again and mashed off his foot that got caught in between the couplers.

I really think CN is going to have to crack down on tresspassers around the Fort Erie/ International Rail Bridge area in particular. If CN will let us railfans in the area help, we will gladly help out CN police with enforcing against tresspassers.

That is very sad to hear;we had two deaths by train over the weekend, here.
The 1st one,a young man, thought he would go between cars on a slow(10 mph)
moving frieght just a few blocks from here. The 2nd one was last night in
an affluant part of town, police say he waited for the train to come along, got
on to the rails and laid down.CSX eng & con. could only watch. That gives
me the chills just knowing about it.[:(]

6 inches of snow on the ground this morning...winter is here!

I only have an indoor cat, but he is super at catching mice. I had a bird come down my fireplace flue and the cat jumped into my wifes arms. Very funny!!!

Get a cat. Works for me!!!!
Had two at the time - both previously male and they delighted in bringing in the ones from outside as toys and gifts. But had no clue how to catch the inside ones! The one now (the Real Mookie) would freak if she saw a mouse!

Thank you, Mookie! And Andrew, BEHAVE yourself in here. This is a VERY
respective diner/coffee shop. And Mookie, D-Con AND mouse traps are now
in place. So be careful where you step in here.

Breakfast will be:

turkey bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal and toast, fried potatoes
and concentrated orange juice, because I haven't seen NJ Mike in here for
awhile. (MIKE, WHERE ARE YOU?)

Nice little night lights left on: who left the trains all running with no one here
to watch them[?][V]
