Whew, another warm one here today, got up to 87 in Madison, and was fairly humid. Was really nasty at work, so we just hurried up and got done by 9 tonight.
Great dinner out on the balcony, CW, was nice to relax after work.
See everyone later.

Morning All (Early Morning That Is )
Welcome Back Kevin, we have your normal place on the couch all ready for you. I guess your email is still not working as you have not emailed me lately.
I can definately deal with the gatoraid. I have never heard of the other though. I guess we can buy some beer mugs and serve them frosted. I love my milk served in a frosted mug.
Well I am going to tip toe to the walk in and crab a piece of that Mississippi Mud Ice Cream Pie. Mmmmmmmmm good.
Good Night, sleep tight.
well jim this weather can make sleeping difficult and make people crabby .5am and already 70 degrees and 100 percent humidity.juice coffee and lemonade are ready.I put another drum of gatorade in the cooler for today too.

I've been told to park the bike for today, and probably tomorrow. Not happy about that, but the Rescue Squad is out of commission.
I don't know that other numeric language.
They should be moving UP 1995 downtown in an hour or so.
Still missing.

Morning all.....
Just got out of the cooler, all the Gatorade and Squincher tanks are topped off, should be good for the day. Jim, I'm not sure who bottles Squincher, I think they're an independent, but we had the stuff when I worked for the WSOR, and Stoughton Trailers buys the stuff by the pallet load. The orange tastes a lot better than Gatorade's orange, they also have lemon-lime and fruit punch, all are on tap here.
Be in later for pizza.

Trying to re enter the next day can be a task, tillwe get used to this . Anyhoo, with the fires in Cal. we are getting all the smoke here in No.W. Ariz. along with thehumidity at 60percent . its' not nice to be outside. The english pub , The Lord Fox has A Cond. Perhaps a visit to mull things over.

Here at the Jct. there was a nasty storm 2 days ago and lightning blasted a telephone stub to smithereens = no phone service for 2days. This ridge line is a lightning rod . Mabey it will move by next time . hope to be back at the Diner again. Cannonball.
Good Day All (Unless you're one of those upside down folks, in which case I suppose it would be Good Night),
Well, I certainly think the Gatorade on tap is a wonderful idea. It was absolutely atrocious last night. I don't have A/C at the house, only a small single room swamp cooler. Alas! it was not able to handle the cooling duties sufficiently last night. Didn't fall soundly asleep until about 2 or 3 in the morning!
Thankfully I'll be performing housesitting duties the next week or so. The place I'm staying has the most wonderfully cold basement in the Denver Metro area, so I'm looking forward to that!
Jay, always have a camera on me (though occasionally I'll bring an odd-ball out, like my Soviet Fed 3b Rangefinder). Let me at that moonrise!
Mutt, you mean to say it was raining Mookies and Locomutts at your place? That must've been quite the site!
Kevin, good to see you made it back here despite the problems. I'm not quite sure all the bugs have been worked out of the new system yet, but Bergie does seem to be making some good progress. Hopefully you'll have better luck with future trips to the DD&CS.
Well, I must be off to deliver some friends (the ones with the lovely frigid basement) out to DIA. Hope you all have a great weekend. Stay cool!

As just a humble new guy lookin' for a counter stool, would Hawaiian Pizza (ham and pineapple) be too much to ask. It heats up well on the sidewalls too...

yes defineately too hot to eat.we will take some pizza later.matt and I are putting more juice and lemonade in the cooler.
stay cool
We just ate in a cool place that we drove to in our cool car (don't laugh, Sarah--I was referring to how well the AC works), after which we went to a cool yard to see a way-cool locomotive: the CNW heritage unit.
Got up to 98 locally; don't know what the official high was. Three digits expected tomorrow; I'm under orders to move away from the bicycle.

Would a cake with such a name be safe for a certain feline member known to frequent this diner?
Meanwhile, we got in and around the triple digit area like everyone else, albeit without the humidity. Still, the dry air isn't all it's cracked up to be. One must be really careful about dehydration in the drier climates (the body deals with the heat better because it's cooling itself by evaporating sweat...of course this requires that the waters and salts that compose sweat need to be replenished as quickly as one loses them). Hence, in addition to a chocolate loving kitty, we have a chicken with an IV of gatorade hanging out at the DD&CS.
Well, I think I'll try some of the Hawaiian Pizza. Always been a fan of that.
Hope you all have a great evening!
TTFN!
Well, it's cetainlly been a while since, I've been in here. Things are starting to shape up here ?// ?Nice, well I see we are still having our pizza fest in the "new DD & CS. Wow this is the first one since the changes. So...
CW I think I will take one large extra chesse pizza with a sprite pretty please. .
Tree, sorry I'm getting back to your question a bit late but, yes I do agree with you, the Struckaa Viaduct is a work of art, truely. It also was built in less than a year, back in 1850.
Unfortunitly, I don't think your going to catch any trains over it anytime soon because, Norfolk Southern sold it and the line, to a regional line. I don't know if they are useing it or not now, but to see a train over the Struckaa is very, very, very rare. I wish in that pic I took of the Viaduct that I had caught a train in action going over it, but.......................OH WELL.
Hey guys, all this talk about temperatures is making me hot!, luckily we are in winter down here! a nice warm 23C today.
Btw, I can never remember what 100F is in Centigrade I think it's about 32C isn't it? if that's so thats not hot! In summer here, it can get up to 43C in the City
Also, whats on the menu for Aussies today?

James, according to a website I just looked up, 100ºF works out to be 37.8ºC. Getting just a little toasty.
BTW, as far as the menu is concerned, I'm sure CW would be happy to serve you a pizza upside down!
