Randy- should be here in Denver. The schedule says I got volunteered to inspect a construction project in downtown Denver for a couple hours a day the next two weeks. If you get here after Tuesday, it should be dry and back in the '90's.
I'll be in Alamosa Sun, Mon , Tues. Flying into Colorado Springs Saturday. If your down Alamosa way ,I'll be around the depot I think .

Put us a large Goetta pizza on order. We're headed out for a little while and will be pretty hungry when we get back.

Hope everyone's having a great weekend.

Brian, I just called and placed the order, so it should be here when I have the other
pizzas ready at 6:30 EDT. As a matter of fact, I ordered two large Goetta pizzas for
tonight.

Starting preparing the dough, and toppings for the other pizzas for tonight.

On the menu will be:

1. Goetta pizza
2. cheese pizza
3. supreme pizza
4. sausage/pepperoni pizza

Tonight was kind of slow for a very nice change of pace. I actually had time to enjoy the night. [^] That doesn't happen very often either. [:(]

Hey look, now we're on page 739!

Today was a good day. Went to Dad's house for our birthdays -- mine today, his Monday -- and went by Mom later, where she had rhubarb cake! YUM!!! So I enjoyed a nice big, all-the-way-across-the-pan piece of it. [:D]

But now I can't sleep, so time for a few posts and a little work on my website. Earlier today, I downloaded a new style for my 3um that actually kinda looks like the Trains forum! The way it looks now anyway... (BTW, my "3"um is sorta like a forum, but I couldn't very well call it a "4"um on Fuzzy World "3", now could I?) [swg] Hopefully I can get that one customized to my preferences, and make it easy enough for my low-bandwidth members as well.

So, now I go and enjoy my barley pop and work on redesigning some of my photo pages!

I guess everyone's sleeping! I'm gonna do the same. I'll be in after noon...if I'm awake by then.

Good Sunday morning, and a belated [bday] to Mark (fuzzybroken!!

Coffee and orange tangerine juice are ready. And if anyone wants some, there's some fresh
lemonade in the fridge.

Sunday brunch is now ready. You've got your choice of: bacon, sausage, biscuits & sausage gravy,
scrambled eggs, hash browns, oatmeal & toast, cantaloupe, watermelon, grits (for those of you
who like them).

Sunday Dinner (Supper) will be ready around 5 p.m.: pork chop abracadbra (made with chicken
noodle soup).

Desserts today: a chocolate cake and a rhubarb pie is available for our birthday man today.

Everyone have a great day, and "stay safe" today.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everybody! I know I'll be sitting in my somewhat-cool house. If it gets too sticky, I'll switch on the A/C. I've got a small pile of pictures to put up on my site, plus finish redesigning one of my photo albums. This website redesign seems to take a lot longer than I originally thought!!! Considering I started it in January...

Been a bit on the go.

On the way back from Cincinnati on the 1st, I saw a couple of trains setting at Remington, IN, dropped off I-65 and got this shot of an ex SP SD40-2 Tunnel Motor.

Went up to the farm for a couple of days, taking a detour via Green Bay. These are shots inside the main hall at the National Railroad Museum. It was my first chance to get a close look at a Big Boy. Just awsome. Steps provide access to the cab open for a good look.

The GG-1 is good looking, too.

NOOOOO! No pastry today! I had/saw enough pastry yesterday to keep me going for a while. Lots of crafters, food, fireworks at dark, and no serious injuries/illness yesterday, so it was mostly a nice day to ride the bike around town and look important. (Well, we are important, if anything does happen). Plus I got to enjoy the parade a couple of times! Gotta love those pipe bands. The "marching" jazz band is always fun, too...

Today I mow the lawn and kick back. Back to the grind tomorrow.

No running on the tracks today. Had to play "Pleasant Valley" for Sunday and be the weekend sqjuire so after heading to the health club and lifting this morning I had major lawn and weed work all afternoon. I love Poland Spring on days like today...

Amazing how this stuff can catch up on you when you are away playing with trains...

Belated [bday], Mark. Been browsing around your albums and 3-um, and I'm impressed. I might even register. You really need to take more trips into Iowa, though. Davenport and Clinton almost don't count![swg]

Very hot day here today- digital thermometer currently reads 94.5 degrees. I'm taking a cool-down break from working on a little project replacing planks on the back deck.

See ya'll on the new forum!

Wow are we getting rain! And hail too! My poor car is shuddering -- it's already got hail dimples [:(].

I was just out trying to get a picture of the Z-CHEM. They turned out blurry, except for my pics of some of the middle trailers. (One x-Amtrak, one x-CN that you could still make out the old lettering)

As I came home, the sun was shining right through the clouds! Was a really neat sight, and I tried to get pictures, but the camera wasn't on the right setting. Oh well.
