Let's see - Charcoal stocked up, salads are ready in the cooler, Mookie's in the hammock, plenty of lemonade made (pink, too), lots of stuff to put on hot dogs and hamburgers, found some watermelon.

OK, everything is ready for lunch except the cooking.

Oops, better not trip over the cord for the electric blanket, either.

I imagine that she dressed in the "dark" this morning,so she could save
some electricity for "her blanket".

the end of it !!
I'm ready to help with the "grilling" also ![C=:-)]

A request for tomorrow. Very large yellow cake with chocolate frosting. (More than enought for everyone.) I'll bring the candles. Tree should come over with the truck and a squad for fire safety.

Larry, you've done a great job on the grill today. Thank you very much!

I'm so full, don't think I can eat another bite.[^]

If CP 2816 is going to be putting out cookies tonight or tomorrow, I think we might have a problem with me eating them all up!! Because his cookies are Beyond good, they are Great!

What is this I'm hearing about yellow cake tomorrow? If it is possible I think we should have some of that also. Man I might have a sugar rush from all of these sweets. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!

Mookie were is that snow?

Yes, Sarah, we are having a big yellow cake w/chocolate frosting on it
tomorrow. But everyone will have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out
why.

And I've just taken another couple of apple pies out of the oven. So put your
ice cream on your slice of pie, and wait a couple of minutes for the pie to
cool down enough to not burn your tongues.

Don't know about from Mookie's end, but we are supposed to get between
a trace and 2 inches tomorrow. It'll be starting out as rain sometime later
tonight, then be a mix of rain/snow in the morning.

Looks like I missed a good meal tonight- but I'll be sure to check in tomorrow to find out the reason for the yellow cake.

We got zilch for snow here, just a 20-degree drop in temperature. Sounds like it might be sunny tomorrow, though, so maybe I'll spend a couple of hours by the UP transcon. Maybe I'll get lucky enough to catch the C&NW units!

Yes, [bday] Jay! Also want to say [bday] to our other forum friend, soo6058,
who also has a birthday today!

Joe, thank you for getting the coffee and juice ready. Also, thank you for
the delicious cinnamon rolls for breakfast..

We'll bring out the birthday cake later on, and have it for dessert tonight,
after we have our annual pizza fest.

It is raining here, getting ready to turn over to snow. Our current temp is
right about 40 degrees, so maybe any snow we get will go ahead and
melt as it lands.

....35.8 degrees here right outside of Muncie at about 9:30 this morning....It is our first taste of a little bit of winter here in weeks....Projected to get {in far east central Indiana}, will be 2 to 4" of the stuff by morning. Real wet snow now and not sticking on roads much yet....Very wet stuff....The Low system will pass on east and the "wrap around" of it then will give us some more over night and Sunday morning...But overall It doesn't seem very severe...What has happened though is the jet stream has dipped down below us and now will allow "weather" from north of us to visit next week or 2...according to reports...That IS a change for us....But It's February and we're working our way towards spring with more daylight and higher avg. temps...

[bday], Jay!

Well, I've got myself busy doing some remodeling work here at home, and since it's kinda cloudy and very cold (22 degrees) today, I don't think I'll venture out to the rails.

Beginning to get the pizzas ready for tonight. Think I'll make two special
pizzas, each with a birthday candle in them, for Jay and Soo6058.

Still getting a very light snow shower; nothing is sticking anywhere.

and... HAPPY B_DAY Soo6058. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![bday][bday][bday][bday][bday]

May God Bless both of you and continue to bring happiness and joy in your lives.

CW I can't wait for those pizzas tonight and that yellow cake!!!

It is raining over here in the Great State of PA here today. It isn't raining hard but, it is comming down. So all in all there is reallly no sence in me going "river watching" tonight, due to no flood warnings. I think I will just stay in the house all day, and relax. [:D]
