Cw is out producing and I am in the sun. But I know we have several very good cooks in the diner at different times. Maybe someone will suggest a specialty?

Mookie, got done with produce. Got red potatoes, apples and oranges.

There has been a change in tonight's supper menu: Mutt is going to make
his grandmother's recipe for spaghetti casserole. He'll be going to the
store in a bit to get couple of ingredients we don't have on hand. That is
a very, very good recipe. Believe everyone will enjoy it!!

How does chili cheese dogs sound tonight for anyone? All I need is an onion and I can prepare the rest for who's hungry.

It won't be like Skyline Chili, but it will be good.

<I just love it when I am making a post and accidentially hit the wrong key (which one I don't even know) and all of a sudden my post vanishes. [:(!] [:(] [:(!] > N O T

OK, now back to posting. HOPEFULLY

The bees are buzzing, the flowers are blooming, and Mook is having an affair. Geesh, I leave the diner for 24 hours and all #@$# breaks loose. [:o)] [:I] [}:)]

BYW Mookie. They do say the northern states are going to get a new storm. They seem to be dragging their feet on saying exactly when but you might want to check the local weather and see what they say. Locally, one of our weather guys is saying February is going to return to winter. But you know what they say, "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change." [;)] Spring arrives on March 20th, and GroundHog Day is this Thursday. Things could get interesting, but then again . . . . . . . . . . [8D]

It is short sleeve weather here today with a slight wind. The sun is out and so is the dog. [;)] She is having a short nap in the grass. [^]

Since it is so nice today, I might take her along while I go drop of the utility payments. She loves to go for a ride and everyone comments how "pretty" she is. [:)]

I made cheese dip at work last night so lunch here is left over cheese dip and tortilla chips. You know how is it, just had a hankering for cheese dip. [:p] [^]

Today is my Saturday. [B)] Yes, it is strange having a Saturday on Tuesday. But Tuesday and Wednesday days off are better (to me anyway) than Wednesday and Thursday. [B)]

I see we have had our 100,000th view. SO LET THE PARTY BEGIN

[C=:-)] [C):-)] [dinner] [bday] [{(-_-)}] [4:-)] [X-)] [oX)]

E N J O Y

I want a corner piece of that white cake with pretty red and blue flowers on white icing. Don't worry guys and gals, half of the cake is chocolate. [;)] I just like the white cake with white icing better. [;)]

Everyone Take Care Now, ya hear ! [:)]

I use to have to "work with" them. [:0] [B)] [8] [xx(] [|)] [:(]

They are absolutely nasty. [:(] [V] [:(] Y U C K ! ! !

I use to have to dump a 10 pound plastic sack of them into a strainer. Then I had to . . . nevermind. It is just to gross to speak about. [B)] [8] [:0]

Give me scallops and shrimp anyday, just forget the "O"s. [;)]

Ever had Iowa-cut (inch-thick) pork chops, ladies? I have a marinade recipe that makes grill-cooked chops melt in your mouth!

Oh, and I'll take some of that stew for lunch, along with a chocolate-iced chocolate cupcake and death-by-chocolate ice cream...

Oysters are not on my list at all;but scallops, brains and "beef tongue" are !!
Do NOT Knock them,'til you've tried them !!!!![:P][:P][dinner][dinner]

And my grandmother's recipe for 'sgetti casserole is out of this world !!!!
While I was "single";I managed to live on that. (although I do know how to
cook more than that, and using the "grill".)(I haven't burned water in a long time !!)

Mutt's got supper ready, folks: spaghetti casserole, salad, and more cake
and ice cream for dessert.

Isn't this a great party we're having?!?!

Jim, glad you could make it in.

Joe, got two containers each fixed for you to take to work tonight.

Next time you want to set the grill up, let me know, and I'll bring a big batch of those chops! And to give you an indication of what that marinade does to them, I'll tell you what the main ingredient for the marinade is- soy sauce!

Just thinking about them makes me super hungry- spaghetti casserole, please.[dinner]

Brian, supposedly tomorrow is to be warm. How about we grill pork chops
tomorrow for lunch and supper? I'll fix some baked beans to have with them.

You are definitely on for that !! Just don't forget to bring the "beer" for the
marinade ! (very key ingredient !!!!)[:D] I do use Soy-Sauce,but other ingredients
are more necessary.[:-,]

Well I just made a batch of Banana Nut muffins. [:p] [:)] [^] I am giving them a few minutes to cool down a thad then I am going to slap some butter on them and munch down. [:D]

Q and M [:o)]

I love scallops and shrimp, but not lobster or crab legs. Don't even mention the " O " s. I tried gator once while I was down in Florida. It was tough and rubbery, but everyones says it wasn't cooked properly or it would not have been rubbery.

Has anyone noticed how many topics the new and improved Detective C, alias trainfinder22, alias kissmycaboose7 and a few other aliases has made lately? I think now most people have realized it is him. [:o)] [:0] Like the old saying, "Give a person enough rope and sooner or later they will hang themself." He seems to be taking in more rope. [:)] [;)] [8D]

Well, I watched part of the speech tonight. It was pretty much the same old garbage just warmed up. Funny, he still can't drop the WMD thing. [B)] [8]

Well, I hear the muffins calling.

Take Care.

Hmmm... very intriguing... although I prefer to taste the beer by itself, right out of the bottle/can. I thought the diner discouraged usage of alcoholic beverages, though.

Brian,

Actually we do "prohibit" alcoholic beverages here;but since it "cooks off"
during time,we do use it once-in-awhile !! (for sauces,marinades,etc.)[:D]
