The cakes in the mail. hmmm, new one on me. [;)]

I hope you had it insured.

Until its replacement arrives I just finished my cake from home. So I will be more than ready when the replacement arrives. [:p] Don't send any ice cream tho, it doesn't travel to well. But feel free to send nuts, and butterscotch topping. [;)]

Noah [8D]

I can't remember what I paid for my first Proto 2000 E8/9 but it was something like 85 dollars. The next two were like $95 dollars apiece, but at least they were new.

Certain models of certain railroads are very hard to find. If I see an engine with Frisco on it I usually try to get it. Model runs are limited in number, well some are anyway, and if you don't get one when they first come out you are just out of luck.

Try the Diet Vanilla Coke - it's better. You are paying for all that fun time spent in archives, aren't you! Now you have to work to make it up!

I'm normally a Pepsi person, but will gladly buy the Diet Coke with lime (they tried it with lemon, and that stuff was awful, but they got it right with the lime). I don't think it comes in two-liter syringes, though.

Diet with vanilla...good stuff, no matter who puts it out.

Hey people!!

Got some FRESH corn on the cob today. We'll boil it on the range (stove) so that Carl
can be sure to get some. Along with anyone else who's in a hurry to get to or back to
work. Also have plenty of tomatoes!!

Joe,

Tell Matt he can have pancakes anytime he wants them. With or without
strawberries. He can even have them with Mrs. Butterworth's Syrup if he
wants.

BLTs sound great! I had a "BLT Salad" last night...those three ingredients, plus pasta and mayo. 'Twas a new offering at our store's deli...would have been great with Miracle Whip (Light) instead of mayo.

Just nuke the bacon...you won't want to be toiling over a hot pan!

CS,
We always "nuke" bacon around here, It is easier. Especially with "Turkey" bacon, which is about all we buy anymore.

I third that motion! What do we have for pies in the fridge right now anyway. I could use a nice sclice of peanut butter pie and A tall glass of milk.

Sent you that e-mail Walt, hope you get it. We had lots of rain. but the main part of the storm was south of us.

Jim, I saw a few at the show that were about that much, and I don't really want to pay that much, so I figure I got a steal at that 40 dollars. The closest thing I saw was like 65 dollars.
