Good Christmas Eve, everyone! And Merry Christmas
to one and all! Sorry I'm late this morning, but I've only been awake about forty
minutes.

Breakfast this morning: Thought I'd make it easier for people who still have
last minute Christmas shopping to do, so breakfast this morning is:

biscuit sandwiches with sausage patty and a scrambled egg in the
biscuit. And if you're eating here, in the Diner, you can still have a sausage,
egg and biscuit sandwich, or you can have a big ole country breakfast of
sausage, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, fried taters.

Everyone take care, and be careful today, on your last minute errands.

...A nice Christmas Eve day starting here.....Was in the low 40's when I went to bed last night and now it's 39...But since it's just a bit past sunup that is typically the "coldest" time of day..... Merry Christmas, to all on the diner forum......Sun is shining in my office window now nicely....

Merry Christmas to everyone, and God Bless.

Things should be rather warm over here in Philadelphia. Right now it feels like spring out! Wow...this is interesting weather but, I'm not complaining. Though I would like to have a white Christmas, we haven't had one over here in Philadelphia since I was around 5 or 6.

OK, but I'll bet the folks living over to the east in the UP are probably saying that those wimps over in Duluth should deal with some real snow.[:D][:D]

Our regular Saturday night supper of pizza is ready. For your enjoyment,
you have:
1. supreme pizza
2. sausage & pepperoni
3. special
4. pineapple
5. cheese
6. mushroom

And, so everyone will have room for their Christmas Dinner tomorrow,
I only baked some Christmas shaped cookies for dessert. To make
it more interesting, find the four cookies with your name printed on them
with icing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

May you and yours enjoy a safe and happy holiday.

Please take a moment of your time to think about those who are working on this holiday to help make your world a safer place, be they in a Humvee halfway around the world, or in a firehouse or a police station around the corner.

It's already Christmas for some folks, so a very merry one to everyone.

Meanwhile, I'll have a couple of slices of #4, please, and hide the cookies!

It cannot be said enough. Merry Christmas to all and to all a wonderful new year - full of promises delivered from the hopes of yesteryear, to continued good health, add in a little more wealth - we want our prosperity. I'm not much of a church going man, but as a family we make it a point to go on most Sundays and especially on Christmas Eve.

I don't want to hear Happy Holidays! If someone says that, just what holiday would the person be referring to?! We don't ever hear anyone say, "Happy Holidays" when it's Independence Day or Halloween, and those are holidays too.

It's Christmas, not Holidays!

Good Sunday morning, and MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

Christmas breakfast will be: your choice of sausage & pancakes w/
syrup, or sausage, biscuits & gravy. Maybe that'll hold you over until
the turkey is done, and all the trimmings are ready. Joe, need any
help with Matt patrol? If so, let me know, and I'll see about sending
Mutt to help you.[(-D][(-D]

Because, Mutt, if you don't hide the cookies, I might "hide" a lot of them myself, in an irretrievable place--and that wouldn't do anybody any good, especially me!

The real celebration for me will begin when the family returns home this afternoon or evening.

The turkey *** (and it's a big one, too) is ready; shelly beans with
potatoes and onion and the savory herbs stuffing is ready. After you
finish with the meal, for dessert, there's mince meat pie, mince meat
bars, pecan pie, and Christmas cookies with Christmas trees on them
for dessert. Also have some boiled custard and egg nog (non alcoholic).

How is everyone enjoying their Christmas dinner? I hope it meets
with everyone's approval. That turkey *** is practically falling off
the bone, it's so tender and juicy.

Hello All and Merry Christmas

My employeer is celebrating Christmas Eve today and Christmas Day tomorrow. Yeah, I know, that is sooo stupid but what can I say. I am off today BUT have to work tomorrow and then off my normal rest days of Tuesday and Wednesday. So they really screwed up my plans to go to Missouri and visit my parents this Christmas. [:(!] [:(] [:(!] Jim is not a happy camper. No family, no friends, no super good food, just me and the dog and my lousy cooking. Actually it was a Banquet frozen Broccoli and Chicken and Cheese (with rice) dish and baked potatoes. So if you had turkey or ham I am sooooo jealous. [}:)] I am going to bake a white cake later today. Right now I have dishes in the dishwasher washing, and clothes in the clothes washer washing. [B)] Some Christmas huh? Then there is the kitchen floor that need sweeping and mopping. [V] Are we having fun yet? [:(!]

Well, I hope everyone else is having a good Christmas complete with family, friends, good food, and fun.

Our weather today is in the mid 50s, partly sunny, and some wind. However, very few trains are running today. I have heard only one on the mainline. So it is not a day to go railfanning. [:(]

Well talk to yall later.

Jim, it sounds like we have the same employer! [;)]

I have today off, tomorrow on, Tuesday and Wednesday off, and missed the chance to go to Michigan because we had to work Saturday, with today and tomorrow being the official holidays.

The rest of the family returned just before dark, so I'm in a bit cheerier mood. And somebody here gifted me with something very delightful!

That repeated beeping you heard was not the smoke alarm - it was my pager with FOUR (count 'em) calls today (we don't get that many some months). Of course that meant I had to shut off the oven and try to recover when I got back. Twice. First two calls were back to back, so I never even got home. Three medical calls and one "good intent" - a beeping of some sort in a vacant mobile home.

Finally got my fill (and then some). Even put together a little 'plate' for the pup, although she now expects more..... The apple pie, with some 4X cheddar on the side, was delicious as well...

Our white Christmas is slowly being washed away - a tenth of an inch of rain so far this afternoon and evening.

While you're celebrating, I had stewed beef ...

I requested it because the college food sucks ( AND I work for the food service department!!! ...

I just spent the past few hours looking at train videos on google ...

Nothing much else ...

2 more weeks of this and ... I'd better celebrate in some way ... b/c I'm never going to get this again.

Enjoy, Jim
