Unless I missed something, it would appear that the cook was so upset at the paintball mess that she left without making any dinner at all.  Sad [:(]  (And I really was looking forward to some pork chops).

Well, that's about all I'm going to get done before work today, I'll grab a plate for work and see everyone after work tonight. Will also have a very important news item for tomorrow.

See everyone later.......

Jay, you've got that right:  this cook is NOT cleaning up any paintball messes!!  The ones who make the mess is entirely responsible for cleaning up after themselves.  And if our illustrious owner finds out, he'd probably close the DD/CS down, PERMENENTLY!!

I'll bring my detergent and scrubbie to help clean up...even if I was the target!

If nobody has suggested anything for supper...how about some steaks and twice baked potatoes?

//Walks in, notices paintball gun is out of ammo//

Sorry Mookie, that's all the ammo you get today, we don't need the diner looking like someone tried to paint with dynamite!!

//sees rope hanging from ceiling again, gives rope big yank, sidesteps Dan on the way down, Dan misses Randy and hits the floor//.......Ya know, this is starting to look like a cartoon sketch......

Thanks for breakfast, Ray and CW, will sit and read the paper over by the cat, hopefully stay clear of the.... //hears shredding sound//.......claws.......

Excuse me while I go get a new pair of pants......A little breezy in here.....

Dan, if you want any lunch today, you'd BETTER come down from the ceiling!!  On the lunch menu today:

Fried chicken w/mashed taters and milk gravy, home fries, green beans and carrots

Clam chowder, and whatever else it was SactoGuy requested.  (My memory's not too good this morning.)

Desserts today:  chocolate cake, chocolate pie, and fried apple half-moon pies.

Does anyone have any requests for supper tonight?  If so, please let me know by 2 p.m. EST.  Thank you!

You know, we were looking at the sides of several of our cars yesterday and noticing that they'd been paintballed.....

(It actually happened last summer - a young lady paintballed the entire train on the way by, unfortunately tagging a couple of the passengers who were standing in the open doors of the baggage car).

It was a beautiful day for the Polar Express yesterday - until the sun went down and the temperature plummetted.  Hadn't grabbed my gloves before the first run, definitely had them in my pocket for the second.

Today I woke up to rain.  At least it's not freezing.

One more set of trips for me next Saturday - then the season is definitely over till spring.

Almost time for lunch...

Zzz [zzz]

Go ahead and get me good with the paint balls, I couldn't dodge them if I wanted to this morning.  This past weekend had to have been the busiest I've had since the kids were in high school.  I barely even had time to talk to my 'spy' on the phone about what UP was sending my way- never mind even thinking about grabbing the camera and heading down there.

OK, where did my recliner get moved to?  Oh yeah, it's over there...

Good Monday morning, everyone!  Mookie, glad your bronchitis is better!  You must have gotten plenty of rest this weekend.

Dan and Randy, hope you are both all right, after the "fall"!  Randy, since the paint for the paintball gun is water-based, you're forgiven.  And thank you for offering to clean up the mess from it!!

Ray, thanks for the cinnamon rolls this morning.  The coffee is ready, and fresh oj is made, along with hot tea, hot chocolate and hot cocoa.  To go along with Ray's cinnamon rolls, you will find hot muffins on the warmer bar, along with Larry's bagels, bacon, sausage, homemade buttermilk biscuits w/sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, and hash browns.

I've got lots to do today, so everyone please keep things going in here, and DON'T FORGET TO CLEAN UP ANY MESSES YOU MAKE WITH THE PAINT GUN!!

Say - that feels pretty good!  Thanks Randy - I think I got him right square in the.........

hand, so he will have to wash his hands before he can dine!

OK - Dan - you can come down now.  (hee hee hee!)

Gonna snag a warm cinnamon roll (thanx Ray) and my BIG cuppa java - off to the hammock to rest.  Last day of anti-whatever and only cof remains.  You boys shoulda not leave catnip - I get carried away and next thing you know, I will be giggling in the hammock with my hat on backwards.

A good Monday morning to everyone out there! It's a bit on the cool side here in my hometown, we have a clear sky and 16 degrees.......no wind to speak of. It's supposed to warm up to about 40 later this afternoon.

Today is "Christmas Goodies" day at my part-time employer, and I was up until well after 11:00 last night putting together two pans of my famous, world class cinnamon rolls, and I will be pulling the first pan out of the oven in about 15 minutes. I will leave both pans of cinnamon rolls on the table in the break room at Howes Oil Company before I head for work this morning.

I have the time to produce a third pan of cinnamon rolls, and I will leave them in the Diner for everyone to enjoy. I get 16 rolls to a pan, and you folks better grab one while they are still warm!
