Good wonderful morning to everyone how is we today. Fine and dandy I hope well I got in at about 2:30 this morning from that charter. That I had out alpine valley last night and let me tell you that is the worst place to get stuck in a traffic jam it took me. about 1hr to get out of there but once I hit the freeway. I made up good time and heck I made 90 dollars in tips last night which was not to bad. But anywho that's really bout it from this end hope to be talkin to you all soon. And a Good Morning to you all (and is it ever a good morning when you wake up on Monday and don't have to go to work!),

Well, we did get a little rain. Not quite as much as down by MC, but then again with the Flash Flood Warnings that were being issued down that way, it's probably not a bad thing.

Woke up early again this morning. Was going to go hang out at Blue Mtn. Rd. or Crescent and see if I could get the UP to deliver something in the "Golden Hour." Alas! It was not meant to be. When I stepped outside, I noticed a pretty hefty cloudbank covering most of the area, but especially points west. I'm not a huge fan of shooting under overcast skies (though I love shooting in other weather conditions like rain, snow and fog). So I brought the camera gear back inside, and flipped through a Don Ball Jr. book.

Well, I have a couple errands to run. I hope you all have a great day!

TTFN!

[|)][|)] Good Monday morning, everyone (I think it's morning: couldn't go to sleep
until about 2:30 this morning.)

Joe, thanks for putting the coffee on, and making the juice.

Randy, thanks for making some gatorade.

Will be back, after I go back to sleep. You'll probably find me curled up in one
of the booths.

Breakfast this morning: cinnamon rolls are coming out of the oven. Be extra
careful, as they are HOT HOT HOT!!

Morning everyone......

Joe, I just saw that story on the news this morning, pretty sad. Also saw a story about a bride-to-be got hit with a stray firework the night before her wedding, which had to be postponed due to the hospital visit.

Otherwise, this is extremely early for me, but it's been so warm and humid that I've only been getting about four hours of sleep at a time. My parents don't have air, so it's quite uncomfortable sleeping weather. Spent yesterday afternoon and evening along the CN tracks in Illinois looking at the new Metra stations (the new Rosemont station isn't much of one, the elevator from the bridge isn't done yet) and nearby track configurations for incorporations into my Train Dispatcher simulator.

Thanks for the juice, Joe, I also mixed up a bunch of Gatorade for those who like it. Everyone stay cool, and be careful with the fireworks.

Welcome Back LC [:)]

You were missed. However, some thought you were already back and on the attack. [:(] I see you have posted in that thread, I have not read your reply as yet.

Man was I busy at work tonight. I think about every train on the UP system came through NLR and needed me today. [B)] I have a feeling they are running more trains now and will be running less trains on Tuesday. At least I hope that is it. I will be in the truck again on Tuesday.

There was a wreck on the interstate tonight that I could see from our yard. It reminded me of the thread I stated about not driving on certain days.

Well, it is getting bed time.

Glad to hear some moisture is stopping to the west. Not much here in the past few days, just enough to keep the grass wet and bring the [censored][censored][censored][censored][censored][censored][censored][censored][censored] mosquitoes out. We've gone to almost none to clouds.

Afternoon all,

Woke up at 4:00 to drive up to RMNP for sunrise. Got a couple shots I'm happy with, but nothing too spectacular. Hopefully should have them posted shortly (need to run a quick White Balance / Saturation Boost / USM application and Re-size and then upload them to PBase).

Meanwhile, I see MC is hoarding all the rain. Thus far, we've only a lot of wind and a couple sprinkles up north. The Dopplar is showing some echoes moving this way, so hopefully we can share in some of the rain.

Glen Ellyn, it's a place to enjoy the best virtual food on the net, complete in a railroad friendly environment (didn't you see the layouts on the way in?) Have a seat, and enjoy some lasagne!

Sounds REAL good to me. I will take enought for 5 people. That will be lunch and supper tonight too. [:p]

The weather today is HOT HOT HOT and the humidity is going to be high too. Since I am in the supply truck on the weekends I have to stock extra water. The train crews such drink a lot, and the yard people do too.

Tomorrow for my Monday "shack" crew I am making Shake N Bake ( . . . aaannndddd IIIIIIIIIIIII hellllllllppppppeeeeeeed [:o)] [:D] [:o)] --if you remember that line L O L ) Chicken, 3-Bean Salad, Potatoe Salad, and a multi-colored Pasta Salad. Since it is just a day before the 4th I went with a "Picnic" theme. [:p]

Man that makes me hungry just typing about it. [B)] Now I am ready for lunch myself.

Everyone be real careful over the next few days-be extra careful.

Happy Holiday Weekend

Good Sunday morning, everyone!

Joe, thank you for putting the coffee on, and making the juice.

Breakfast this morning: sliced cantaloupe, sliced watermelon, oatmeal, toast,
and your choice of turkey bacon or sausage.

Sunday Dinner today: lasagna w/your choice of garlic bread, garlic sticks, or
Texas garlic toast, with a nice garden salad. It'll be ready by 1 p.m. EDT, and
there is plenty made, and will be out on the warmer bar, so help yourselves.
But you'll have to go to the cooler for the salads.

Desserts today: German chocolate cake, brownies with fudge icing, and your
choice of the following ice creams: vanilla, neopolitan, peach, Snickers, and
Milky Way.

Have an enjoyable day, watch out for others out there, and stay safe.

Evening all......

Getting ugly around here, according to the weather radio, severe storm and tornado warnings are up for Fond du Lac county, storms are headed towards the Milwaukee area. Looks like Summerfest will be cut short tonight.

Was hot and humid today, hit 90 in Milwaukee. I helped my sister work on her room at the local daycare, then trimmed a few branches at home so I can get my truck in the driveway without knocking my antennae off.

See everyone later.
