I will admit to being just a little confused at this moment; last Monday, my birthday, when I tried to sing "Happy Birthday Dear . . . . . " to myself I couldn't remember what name to insert in that blank.  Could this be a case of "Identity Theft"?

Trains.com appears to be having just a little trouble today; three times - so far it has been three times - today when I have attempted to connect I have come up with a connection error and MSNTV has given me a "bad www" indicator.  I access Trains.com from a favorites folder but the first time this happened this morning I tried manually accessing the website and still came up with an error.  Five minutes later out of the blue I connected.  This has happened before but it is, admittedly, a rare occurance.

I had DS Schmitt and One other (I cannot remember)

But did a cleaning of my computer down to the last scrap of cookie and got my log in back earlier today.

I dont know what was the matter with the Kalmbach Server but it should not be happening. However, I suspect the entire server was wondering which of the computers logged in was the real saftey valve. =)

Wow, every time I log out and then login I'm somebody else. If I hit the profile regardless of who is the user name it goes to my profile page. Go figure, the website must have gremlins tonight.

Now I feel like I'm in a time warp, I just posted to this and nothing, posted again and showed as usual on the 2nd page. Now my previous post is gone and the 2nd page doesn't exist.

Weird to say the least.

Now I've started a 3rd page that popped up after posting this previously.

The new posts aren't moving up and if you note (if you see what I see at my end), the last posts are all about 3:40 to 4 PM. Nothing after this time.

Well this is starting to explain some goofy things to me with my account. At home I am logged in as danpik, always have been even after the "change" a while back. At work I am unable to log in as danpik, don't know why, but I can't. When I tried it would not let me saying I was not who I think I am. Anyway I tried to re log in and had to use a new user name to sign up. That name is Pike62. I don't dare try to log off of either account now and try to get back on as I may have to create a new account. My suspicion is that it has something to do with having to be a subscriber to the magazine and the code needed to sort that out. Maybe, I don't know.

I am Safety Valve and CSX Robert too.

But, I wanted to be Superman, and if not, then at least let me play Batman.

Can, I? Can, I? Please, please!

I don't know what I did, but I've been myself for a little more than 12 hours now......I know I once hit the refresh button on my browser and I noticed that I showed up as the user name....maybe their server was mixing our cookies up or simply losing its mind. If I could only remember my name again.....

I just got out of a meeting with my primary online contact. They performed some upgrades yesterday which goofed some of the caching mechanisms for the forums. They knew about the problem last night and addressed it right away. It's all better now. He also reassured me that, although you could see someone else's username, if you clicked on it you would be taken to your own account. Thus, there were no security/privacy risks.

Sorry for the confusion.
