I noticed something odd on the forum page....look under the Model Railroader logo at the Welcome Back field....I'm now Joe Fugate!!! When I go to the Forums page, I'm John Busby. Are you who you think you are?

I just saw "Shrek" over the weekend.  You've got to get Joe and John together and go find Merlin the Magician to straighten this out.

Oddly enough I was just told I was someone else before I officially signed in.  I went to a news site forgetting I wasn't allowed as a non subscriber and was welcomed under a different name and given the news article I clicked on.  It was a little offbeat so I closed and quickly signed on and things went back to normal.  I also noticed that I had to go to Trains.com directly as the newsletter link wasn't working on any of the ones I tried.

Nope. I was CSX Robert! I loged out to see what you guys where talking about. Nothing happened. But then I was looking through one of my fourms and it loged me out. So I logged in and now I was this guy! BTW If it say CSX Robert over on the left side it's not. It's WCfan.

I find that almost every time you go back to main page, I get changed to someone else. This last time I was logged out . Real gremlins in the web pages.

Wanna hear something weird?

On some threads I'm signed in and others it's prompting me to sign in!

Hah! I was signed in as doctorwayne, then, when I posted a reply to a thread I became somebody else, and my reply didn't show up.  I hit "Refresh", which allowed me to see my posted reply (under my own user name), but I became somebody else again.  I hope the wife will be pleased. On some threads I'm signed in, and others I need to do so.  Also, a minute ago I was csxguy, then I was jblackwelljr, and for the moment I'm me!  I also couldn't see my last post in this thread, or any after it until this post came up!

Sorry for posting 3 times in a row but, The server must be gliching. Because this thread is not on my "My Fourms" list and it's not moving on top of the General Disscussion.

I just signed in and discovered I am SAFETY VALVE!  And out of respect, I won't mention his real name on the initial welcome page.  I would hope everyone else who is experiencing this problem will do the same.

Thanks,

If somebody can spare a minute, could you have a look at a post by Blind Bruce about half-way down the first page of General Discussion, entitled "Using ACC":  I posted a reply there, which I can see, but the thread didn't move up to the top of the page.  I'm wondering if this is some kind of a "cookies thing", where my post is only visible to me.  Thanks.

Wow! Now I need to post something to see the second page. I've noticed it's only happening here where I'm a diffrent user, and at the MR homepage.
