Don,

Have you hit the 'Logout' button and signed out? Once you do that and sign back in, you should become yourself once again.

If you are still experiencing problems with the Forum identifying you as another user, log out and then sign back in using your email address and password. That should correct the issue. The official response from the MR webmaster:

We have made a change to correct the situation; however, you will need to log out on the home page and your "My Account" section and then log back in with your e-mail address and password to reset the change.

The only forum I'm having problems with is Layouts/Layout Building.  Every time I go there I am CSX Robert and the forum doesn't show anything that's new since last night.

Edit: Nevermindm it fixed itself.

Advice, tips, questions and general information on the hobby

I noticed something odd on the forum page....look under the Model Railroader logo at the Welcome Back field....I'm now Joe Fugate!!! When I go to the Forums page, I'm John Busby. Are you who you think you are?

Don Z.

Thats exactly what happened to me! In all the other forums, I am identified correctly, except for this one. (general discussion) When I clicked on the jfugate link on it, it brought me to my own page, so it's just labled incorrectly. Everythings fine now for me.

I'm still me but I posted a comment about the new MR review of the Bachmann Spectrum 4-4-0 and they said I was from "ERROR, Texas". Go figure?!?!

I emailed Kalmbach CS and they said they were having some maintenance issues and if you re-login it should straighten out. I did and it did so I guess I don't have to move to Error now! It's bad enough being in Scum City, Texas!

Thanks Bergie

But the first page is still "Frozen in time" if you will

It's not showing any updated posts

The only way i can get them is to go to "My Forums" which of course only shows

the threads i've replied to

On the first page in General Discussion there are only 3 replies to this thread but under My Forums there are 3 pages of replies

When you first logged into the trains.com site did you answer "yes" to remember me on this computer? Just guessing, but it sounds like they are having a problem with the cookie.

I don't know what I did, but I've been myself for a little more than 12 hours now......I know I once hit the refresh button on my browser and I noticed that I showed up as the user name....maybe their server was mixing our cookies up or simply losing its mind. If I could only remember my name again.....

But, I wanted to be Superman, and if not, then at least let me play Batman.
