Good evening, Chloe. Any chance of a slice of apple pie that PC didn't get?Wow!! [wow] Yes, quickly! - plop a dollop of ice cream on that and let me have it, quick! Oh yeah, and a cup of coffee.

  Thanks a bunch!

Ok,I have some pics from Grattan raceway where I got to meet JR and will post some the next few days. It isn't RR but it will show you what JR is into. They are all taken from the same spot as it was a lllooonnnggg walk to another one and they aren't the greatest but I tried.

What, Duke, you didn't get any closeups of the cars going by you (say, about 3 feet away)? Evil [}:)] Ah, well...Wink [;)]

Hey, Jeff - I think that new pic is great, and even your older ones beat the ones I've been posting lately. (Oh, wait - that's right, I haven't been posting any!) Oops [oops] Whistling [:-^] Whistling [:-^] Whistling [:-^]Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] Good pic - about makes me want to get a PA (well, almost - my line's pretty much an all EMD shop).

Fairly busy day at wCensored [censored]k; needed to go out twice to assess people (one in a.m. at a jail, one in the afternoon at a residential care facility). Neither one had to be hospitalized. Then when I got back to the office from the afternoon run (inside of a half hour until quitting time), I had two calls from clients to return. Got them calmed down and only ran ten minutes late in leaving.Yeah!! [yeah] Thankful for the Big Boss' help on all that. Angel [angel]Angel [angel]Angel [angel]

Rob, keep hanging in there. We're keeping you in our thoughts & prayers (and your wife as well).

Hope Ed isn't getting too much of Felix's rains and it's way south of him (and stays south of him). Actually, for the sake of the folks that way, hope Felix fades out ASAP!

Ouch, the Cardinals slipped last night! At least the Cubs and the Brewers also lost, so the Cards stayed same number back from first.

I need to get working tonight on a lesson that I'm supposed to lead on Sunday for the singles class (at another church, I was just visiting the class, honest!). But Chloe, could I have another cup of coffee first? Thanks - I'll finish this cup and then go.

Blessings,

Jim in Cape Girardeau

Hey, anyway Jeff, I have some of the old Revell kits (some I assembled a ways back, some bought off eBay) that are at least that old, and their detail is every bit as good as some current structure kits. But for some of us, the fun in kitbashing or scratchbuilding is getting a building that's different, plus will fit the space you have (instead of having to go the other way around and find a space for the structure...).

As a matter of fact, there are. Once I get a little more scenery done I'll start putting in more structures. Some of these babies are probably older than you are. You know the loco maintenance facility that my famous rusty steamer sits next to? That building is around thirty years old. I got it in Germany when I was sixteen.

It's you're back Jeff. Please take care of yourself. Blood pressure must be watched more and more the older you get.

I know you're a good person and you have a lot of fun with this hobby. I can't explain behavior of others "out there", but you may agree that your blood pressure will be better if you turn the other cheek. It's the other guy's problem if he is too judgemental and not yours. If for some reason a person perceived you should do something differently, he could at least politely suggest a change. I think all would be better if everyone prayed for others instead of judged others.

I like seeing your stuff because you enjoy what you are doing. It's refreshing to see people like you having fun. That's what you do with your KCS stuff. Any new model railroad projects in your plans, Jeff?

Happy Model Railroading

Jeff, good to hear you're okay now. If it gets your blood pressure up that much, yeah, I'd say hold off a while. Shock [:O] We wouldn't want to have you in the hospital over it, okay?

Excuse me but I've been a bit tied up with stuff, and don't know about the WPF thing.  i scanned thru WPF and I don't like what it looks like.

Looks like others picked on him for what ever. Is that so?

I enjoy Jeff's KCS stuff. Hope Jeff is okay.

Hey, Jeff... hope you're okay............

Jim says.......

"I also have been going and going this afternoon for another reason. eHarmony is having a 'free communication' weekend (through today), and since I can't afford their extended packages otherwise (so I could communicate to find out if they might be of interest), I've been busy sending and answering questions and have two women in my area I might be looking at meeting before long. So, we'll see - and yes, I did mention that if they were supportive of my MRR'ing hobby efforts, that would be a plus. Wink <img src=" border="0" width="15" height="15" />"

(Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh. ......don't tell..... he's trying to line up a lady to buy a half dozen 2-10-2's for him....... don't let Fergie know about it.......)

Meanwhile.......Shelley and I continue at least one trip per day to a hospital 45 miles away to see her sister who remains on a ventilator in ICU.

Good night guys. I'm heading to the ER. With all the stress I've gotten from that WPF thread I'm having really bad chest pain. Hopefully it's not serious and I'll be back on tomorrow. Better safe than sorry.
