Good evening everyone......the weather forecasters are so worried about this LOW coming to the Atlantic coast from the Panhandle of TX, that there are going to send a HURRICANE HUNTER aircraft into the storm when it goes off the coastline. They expect this storm to "bomb" as they say in meteorological terms, which is slang for explode into a very big storm. It is going to hit us on Sunday noontime.

WELCOME BOB Sign - Welcome [#welcome]Sign - Welcome [#welcome]  I'd offer you a piece of Strawberry-Rhubarb pie, but it seems that two customers in the Diner devoured the entire pie between the two of them, then tried to put the blame on me and poor RT...tsk, tsk........just wait until FERGIE hears of this behavior. Somebody is going to be on KP duty for a month!!

SUE: Watch out for Frenchmen from NS!!!! LOL

TRENT: Doesn't that get your goat????? People in too much of a rush to file properly. I think you are correct...it is time to find another Primary Dr.

JEFF: Better watch that pitcher of suds, look whose sneaking behind your table?

MIKE: That is too bad.....that is a serious financial hit to many farmers, and they recover for another year on Junebearers. We are seeing a similar proble here with Maple Sugar harvesting. The season is getting shorter and shorter which is seriously cutting into profits. Expect the price of Maple Syrup to be going higher this year.

Side Note for TV: National Geographic Channel has a documentary this Monday night and again next Friday night, on a guy who has literally lived with wolves. He raised some as pups, then taught them to act as wolves before returning to the wild. If you go to the NG website, you can read about the show and see a short film clip of this action.

 Later,

Dick If you do what you always did, you'll get what you always got!! Learn from the mistakes of others, trust me........you can't live long enough to make all the mistakes yourself, I tried !! WELCOME Bob, missed your thread out on the main board, but I don't get around much when the grandkids are here. Thoughts n prayer be with you n yours on your loss and remember there's always freinds here if'en ya need to talk any time.

Trent, man you've had a time of it with the doc's, hope you get more anserwes from a new one.

Cleo, the cobbler was good, think I'll have one of JEFF's barleypops over in the corner booth n watch the trains go by

Howdy all!

I'M SSSOOOO MAD!!!SoapBox [soapbox]Angry [:(!]Censored [censored] The Dr.'s office finally got back to me yesterday on my tests that I took about three weeks ago! The reason given was my file was filed under the WRONG Dr. and WRONG letter of the alphabet.

Can you believe it?

The results are my triglicerides are 169 as opposed to 150. No prob there, and my liver enzymes were a little elev. BUT no results on the clorest. test and the other one that I have no idea what it was all I know is they pulled 4 vials with only 2 results.

Gonna get my file copied and find a different DR.Censored [censored] Here I go again! Oh well may be the next one will be smarter.

Train show tomorrow so I'll be busy all day.

Sorry I haven't been on again but rest assured that Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers always!

I wasn't sure, but I was trying to see that there would be some left over after he got through shoveling it in. Wink [;)]  Have you seen him go at it?  If there's a pie in the room, don't go near his mouth!  If you do you're risking life and limb!  I've never seen anything like it! Afternoon, Zoe is any apple pie left or did RYAN & PC eat it too. Guess it's just be some ice cream for J Bird, KC, n me when the kids wake up from their nap.

JIM N GARRY,

Think I'll leave my handle the way it be, I've gotten along all these years with standard figurgin.

Colby, liked the pics, but you could've left the snowy ones out for me

PC, congrads on the new dog. Your health should really improve with taking it out for a walk 2 or 3 times a day

Jerry, glad there wasn't any major damage when the sky fell on the train.

Dick, most all the fruit was flowering here from the early warm weather. One report I heard was a 90% loss, so most all our fruit will come from some place else at a high dollor for sure. Some of the farmers had planted sweet corn it's gone also and will have to be replanted

Best get round J Birds strirrin and I don't want here to wake KC.

Good afternoon everyone, very windy here today , averaging 15 mph with guts to 35. Cloudy and 39F, so it is NOT a nice day to be outside.

We have a real bad storm coming in for Sunday noontime.....the weathermen are saying that this storm has the potential to be the 5th worst Nor'easter in the past 50 years!!! The problem is, we have a blocking HIGH over Eastern Canada, and big LOW that is going to stall off the coast and dump copious amounts of rain and snow. It will be an elevation storm, where those over 1000 feet and away from the coastline will get heavy wet snow and power outages with winds in excess of 60 mph, and the seas will be over 20 feet because of Astrological high tides this time of the year and a New Moon.....

COLBY: Very good photos, you did a fine job!!  On the snow photo, where was that taken and what RR was that?

RYAN & PC: You guys are in deep DOO DOO....just wait until DUKE and MIKE find out that you two oinked out on the Strawberry Rhubarb pie...poor JEFF didn't even get a whiff of the pie..tsk, tsk...JEFF, is there any justice in this world at all?

MIKE: My strawberry plants haven't even shown green leaves yet!!!  This is going to be a late season I fear. I hope that when they do bud, that we don't get a week of rain to spoil them.

Any signs of Ethanol tankers yet?

Time of get to the train room, now that I decided upon a lift-out, I need to take some measurements, and hunt for a piece of 3/4" plywood. Hopefully I have some left in the wood pile.

Later guys,

Mornin' all!

What a beautiful morning it is this morning!

Oh, check this out!  The wife has been looking for a new dog for us.  Well, last night she got a call from someone who knew she was looking, and they said to come on over.  We went over and came home with a 9 year old female English Bulldog!  Ugliest thing you ever saw!  But she's so ugly she's cute.  I'll take some pics later.

Gerry, not quite, I got interrupted by the dog thing above.

Jim, happy?  I've got this page!

Alright folks!  Step right up and fill your plates!  The grub is on me today!
