BUT ..... Here's the Mrs. Hippy River Bridge on the Heartland Division........
It's made from two Walthers double track bridges and four Atlas single track bridges. Combined length is four feet. The track is handlaid on my home made real wood (oak) ties. The "water" was made from plastic covers for overhead lighting in drop ceilings.

Okay--this is the absolute LAST bridge on the Yuba River Sub--I can't carve out any more canyons, LOL!
Early shots were taken 'in progress' about a year ago, last shot was taken last month.
I've now got 15 bridges. NO MORE BRIDGES (yah, sure!)

What do ya mean? Just add a river or lake instead of a canyon.
Does this count? My viaduct is 30ft from tip to tip.

The radius is 34" on the viaduct. And I've already got rivers and lakes, LOL!
But I'm sure I can find another excuse for a bridge when it hits me again.

Mark, thanks for the explanation on how you did the roads. I kept looking at that second shot and thinking, why did Mark post prototype images.
They're all real head shakers. How did you do the road signs? I kept looking at those also, trying to figure out if they were real or what.

What a beautiful model of the Santa Fe Canyon Diablo bridge! I sure hope that the club was able to salvage it when they had to move. Just spectacular!
Okay, not one of my 'big' bridges, but this is the one over Plum Creek on Yuba Summit on my Yuba River Sub. It's playing host to the Pioneer Zephyr at sunset.
A couple of Atlas plate bridges,...
Some MicroEngineering girder plates...
Two Kato bridges, stripped of their Unitrak and upgraded with ME bridge track and some weathering...
In the back, a Walthers truss bridge with ME plate girder approaches, in the front, a few Kato thru plate girders. This section isn't done yet. There are some fairly major bridges planned for a future expansion.
Those D&H and DL&W scenes are incredible. Kudos to the builder's craftsmanship...

I have never seen such beautiful modeling!! You fellow MRR'ers are without a doubt artists. Its not just the bridges. Its the ways people use their bridges. I only wish I had a layout big enough to handle such monster bridges. I love Arts canyon. I am too lazy to look back and see who it is, but that long trestle with the prototype picture is incredible. Did you use a whole trees worth of Basswood!!!

Beautiful work guys! So many nice bridge scenes, very inspirational!I set here contemplating how to put two or three bridges on my layout.I have changed my track plan so many times, keep seeing things here on the forum that give me ideas.Right now, I am working on a late 1940's to mid 50's era Pennsylvania HO layout set in the midwest ( northern Indiana).There is so much flatland here, I have thought of just changing a few things anyway, and adding some hilly terrain.I have 3 tables end to end forming a 6 foot wide by 24 foot long and have two outside loops of mainline, but want to add a yard with turntable, and still keep playing around with different ideas for industrial sidings, and some hlly terrain where I can add in bridges, villages, etc.I have a Walthers 130 foot turntable and roundhouse kit that is partially built.I have room to add onto the backside ( layout is totally walk around at this point) and go around two adjoining walls, but don't want to get too big to start with.This layout is basically being freelanced as I go along.I'd welcome any ideas or suggestions.Perhaps I'll take some pictures of where I am at and go from there.
