Jwar got me thinking, there are many of us who like big bridges and like to look at pics. I was inspired by Twhite and the big suspension bridge and the wood trestle. I bet there are others who like these and would enjoy having them all together on one thread. We could ad over the weeks and inspire even more.
I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

Here's my interpretation of Starrucca Viaduct - entire bridge is about 6 ft. ( gotta take a pic of the whole thing ) ....
Here's the high bridge at Nineveh Jct. ....
Lastly, Tunkhannok Viaduct still under construction ....

That's beautiful work Mark. I spent countless days and so much Kodachrome in that area and you got it right. We used to hit that area pretty regularly from about 1974 until the early 90's.
Keep up the great work and please show some more shots of your layout, brings back many memories of chasing trains in that area.
You forgot to model all the skid marks from railfans screaming up and bailing out to get the shot and the little yellow boxes that some left around all the best photo locations.

Matt - My roads are simplicity at its finest .... I first tape a bunch of pieces of paper together roughly where I want the ENTIRE roadway to be. I then draw it accurately on all this paper and cut it out. When I'm satisfied, I transfer the template to a sheet of 1/8" Masonite and cut it out as one big piece. I find the Masonite gives naturally smooth transitions for the "ups and downs". The asphalt color is just some I "eye-balled" at the paint store, and the cement bridge is the same gray with some white added .... nothing special at all !!! The yellow and white markings are PROFESSIONAL pin-striping tape. I stress the fact it's professional grade because it's a lot thinner than the stuff you find on the pegs in your local auto store. Other than that, no deep dark secrets for making roads here !!!

Do you made that bridge ?
Bridges in cener photo. Rear bridge with freight train is a Micro Eng Kit. Front bridge is scrach built and kit bashed, using ME, CV, Plastruct and evergreen structural parts. Hand rails are out of an atlas Chord bridge the came so close to my pictures I elected to use them.
Lower picture. Double track Walters, modified a tad. Black atlas plate girder was cut in half and offset and widened to fit the curve. Rear bridge if memory serves me is an atlas warren truss.
I'm going to give it another try. If it comes through, it's my Beichstahl bridge modification. Unlike Art's, it only goes over a lake, not a spectacular canyon.

I have only seen one once in person, but I would love to see pics of Overland Models, Great Northern Bridge Within a Bridge. That is truly an impressive bridge model. The below is the only info I could find out about it online....
Overland Models, Inc. has also released photos of their new bridge, and it's a beauty. It is a model of Great Northern's "bridge within a bridge" at Rock Island, Washington, just south of Wenatchee. It is being offered on a very limited basis; assembled in China and only 50 models will be produced. This impressive model is full scale and measures 57 1/2" long; the prototype is 416'-6". There are over 3,500 parts, and all are fully detailed. The price tag-not surprisingly-is $5,200 and the model is unpainted. Photographs of the model are in Model Railroad for February 2001, and on the back cover of Railroad Model Craftsman, March 2001 issue.

I like having the pic in the quote so it is easier to refer back to what is being quoted.
