CRUSH, BANG, CRUSH[xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][:D]After 33 years together I've got a good working formula, when I'm with her we do what she wants to do, when I'm alone, I do what she wants me to do, what can I say. She a fantastic girl, just very given to her opinion, and she lets me know, promply, when she doesn't like something. Most wives of 33 years have figured out by that time that the guys are in it for the long haul, so they think their the boss, and their usally right.[:D][:D][:D]

QUOTE: Originally posted by rsn48 When it comes to limited runs, they aren't as limited as people would lead you on to believe. Limited runs can go quickly in a location that has or had the prototype. So logically BC Rail items sell very briskly here in Vancouver, BC, Canada; but not so briskly in Oregon. So if you can't find something locally, then think globally. Who might have the item. How about a dealer in New York, or Ontario, or Texas, or California. Let your fingers do your walking on the computer internet. About two months ago, people were lamenting on the Atlas Forum that they couldn't get any N scale, SD70's (I think) heritage scheme BNSF. And you know what, when I told those same people there were plenty of them at a store in Vancouver BC, not one ordered from there. Take of your local thinking cap and put on a global one. At one time I got so irritated with people whining about not finding items, I said I would start a service and charge $20 to find the loco they wanted - no takers. So whatever you believe the planet is out of, I promise there are more out there. Also limited runs have a habit of re-appearing on the used markets or at local shows. I stopped getting the "limited run" paranoia a couple of years back; and what I want always re-appears a year latter, after the feeding frenzy.
