> Any and All passenger carriers, especially in metropolitan areas
> come to think of it, probably the NYCTA - I was a 'sprout' in Manhattan in my formative years (we had no automobile until moved to CT at age 5), my father ALWAYS made sure we could ride the head car to 'play motorman' any time we rode!
> NYNH&H: after leaving NYC, I've lived in CT and MA, and now I dispatch trains on "the Shoreline"! (yes, the 12":1' kind)
> Bryan! (this thing was started by Brian, right?) - why don't you have ALL the Class I's in your poll choices??? AMTRAK -is- a Class I carrier, y'know........

I voted for "Other" ...

Maine Central

Green & gold "chicken wire" F3s and Alco 2-8-2s running heavy freights through the NH White Mountains in the fall - who could argue with that? [:D]

Running a close second is a small mineral hauler in the finger lakes region on NY state, called Finger Lakes RR. Check it out sometime, great for modeling.
