I have 3 extra loads per week of Fire Brick for steel mill ladles etc... Ken has my two loads by boxcars.. who else can use these firebrick?

How about concrete blocks, regular brick and block glass?

Approx 4 loads each (Per item) per week being offered.

GDRMCo (Nova Scotia -Interchanges with me on the Frederick Sub Via Ken's Line)

Inbound

Autos asking 4 loads a week (Thinking Mid 50's style auto double door box as clearance is too tight for the auto max)

Outbound

Finished Metal Products offering 4 Boxcar loads per week.

FERGIE (Interchanges with me on the Frederick Sub VIA Ken's Port of Baltimore)

Inbound

3 Carloads a week of Foundry Sand
LCL Maple Syrup

Outbound

6 Boxcars of Maritime Support (One each of: Rope, Twine, Foul Weather Gear, Chain, Cabling and Fittings)
4 Loads of Scrap
2 Bridged loads of Scrap

Masonjar's Europe Traffic? perhaps JPowell can handle that business.

*************
*************
Now offering for Outbound traffic this week:

20 Loads Coal
8 Express LCL Reefers
10 LCL Boxcars
4 Glass Bottles
4 Glass containers
2 Flat loads of granite (Ready for further cutting)
2 Flat loads of Marble (Ready for further cutting)
6 Hoppers of Quarry tailings (Waste dirt and stone etc)
Troops - 4 Platoons of Recruits in 4 Sleepers Bound to Parris Island SC
4 Loads of cut lumber 2x4 etc...

4 Loads of finished steel coil ready to be made into something.
3 Gondola loads of Aluminum Ingots that are really big
6 Scrap in gondolas (Now Ken here is your chance!)
10 Foundry items ranging from engine blocks for autos to steel structural parts.
2 Loads of Charcoal in bags by boxcar
4 Loads of regular brick
4 Loads of Processed milk for further packing into boxes, bottle etc
2 Team track loads per week are availible for now.. that can expand once additional traffic justfies it.

**New traffic "TOFC" is now availible number of loads based on need.

Ok...

First off... I will generate a traffic report for Ken to handle the bridge traffic to both Fergie and GDRMco within a few hours. (Dinner time LOL)

I am sorry for being rather slow in running with the big dogs in this thread but was really amazed at the teetering and groaning traffic needed to keep up with all of this traffic. And I am running one train per interchange a day. Imagine what it would be like once I step up additional power and run thru to handle the crush of holiday traffic.

Fergie -
As for those trees, let me know how many carloads you'll be sending my way so I can reserve the tracks for them.

All -
I spent 42 sheets of paper at 4est today to print off this whole topic so I can do up the spreadsheet for the fearless leader Fergie![:D]

This is getting way outta hand[:0]

Due to the sudden increase in traffic I propose I use you as my western hub as I need facilities for servicing and re-distribution to all points West and South West.

I've had to hire additional staff to keep up on the orders.

Additionally! The MESS has aquired another several Locomotives to deal with this surge. The first one out of the shop, sometime tomorrow is the K4-m Pacific. Originally owned by Pennsy this engine has been modified for East Coast Environments.

Fergie -
I think we can work out an agreement in that area. My set-up is similar to that of 'Progressive Rail' (the real one) out in the suburbs of the Twin Cities. I have plenty of yard trackage to hold both inbound and outbound shipments till you or the other customer are ready for them to be sent onward. All I'll ask is to send a couple of tank cars of fuel for my fuel rack, if that's ok with you.

As for the spreadsheet, Im going to attempt to make one. Once done, if anyone wants a copy, let me know and I'll email it to you. May be a few days till completed though.

My location is in the eastern suburbs of Syracuse NY USA.

The highway crossroads are I-81 and I-90.

As for rail connections, the major Class 1 is CSX. I also have sonnections to CN (@ Binghamton, Albany, and Buffalo NY), CP (@ Buffalo), NYS&W (they pick up and drop off at the CSX Yard in DeWitt NY where I get my shipments at), and FGLX (Solvay and Geneva NY), and NS (@ Buffalo, Binghamton and Albany NY) mostly via CSX.

Any questions, let me know!

The Golden State Railroad interchanges with UP, ATSF, BN, WP, D&RGW, CORP and SP. So we have 2 connections from the east (WP & D&RGW), 2 from southern California (SP, and ATSF) and 3 from the pacific northwest (UP, BN and CORP).

Thanks! Looks like Ken is the Port of Entry then, I'll get the cargo out and those cars will reload inbound.

I will develop a train to set out by tonight for this account.

Ken,

Good Deal!

Fergie,

Still wondering about the virtual location. I do have your freight set up but not sure how to route it.

Whatever scrap you can round up is greatly appreciated, I know I'm competing with Chinese steelmakers for a tight supply.

Hey guys.
Counter Weight
GDRCo is located in Townsville (not fictional), Queensland, Australia. We can increase the export of our locally made (fictional) autos, plus we can take in more finished steel to construct the auto's with thus producing more autos and so on.

Inch53,

I think you can either send those two boxcars back empty or load em something. If you want to go and send them out to someone else with a load somewhere where they could load it towards my home rails.

Gonna have to create a category for orphan cars. Whew!

Sierrarr,

How many loads of those crabs can you send? Are they in reefers? I probably can bridge them to Ken's large city... less a few loads for my area =)

Thanks Ken! Let's see... shuffles freight orders hunting for Fergie and GDRMCo

Once I understand that Fergie and GDRMCo are indeed shipping via your port I can set up the bridge traffic very quickly.

If we find out that one or both Fergie and GDRMCo are inland USA I can adjust the traffic to the appropriate interchange.

Further.. are you able to bridge freight towards the NE?

I will hunt up as much scrap as you can handle.. if I have to get it in from other railroads, I'll do it.

We will add to the traffic both ways as the week progresses. I should know more by tomorrow evening on the precise traffic situation going your way.

Ill add one load of bottled Cider in boxcars. You want glass bottles in one gallon size? That oughta throw a operational wrench into train handling LOL. All them dar bottles jingling down the track.

And one boxcar of team track freight with Nails and tools.

Is that acceptable?

Thank you very much. ISorry about the MS mix up! The hardware order is very small, it will probably need to be loaded into a general boxcar for various goods bound for the team track. Dairy I need less than a car a day, no problem there. Along with the Perishables (Produce, Milk) i'll definitley be needing apple cider.

To get the goods up here, some how they will need to make it as far as Selkirk, or New London Ct, for transfer directly to B&M/Big G or to PW, which will transport from New London to Gardner MA, and transfer to B&M. Thanks

I'll need the latter two two be interchanged through Frederick, MD, as they are needed daily. The lumber can be sent through whichever yard is geographically best.
Which railroads will you be directly interchanging to?

I am hoping Ken will answer to affirmative on my Frederick Md Interchange as I THINK he is next to mine.

Regarding the Maple Sryup, I think that is Fergies commodity, I have not yet resolved precisely which interchange to use because I dont yet know where he is located LOL.

Produce I can provide about 2 car loads thru Frederick at this time pending additional orders.

Dairy I can do one load per day. I might be able to scrap ... err... make other loads availible but cows can only be miked so fast. And boxes, jugs and schools drink my dairy dry pretty fast.

Lumber I will give you two boxcars worth daily. I think that is sustainable given the plentiful trees in the region.

Would you want nails and hardware for your lumber customers? I think I can manufacture about 2 boxcars worth a week.

I would like to ask for Two carloads of your textiles a week. I could bridge them to other railroads who might be able to provide bigger orders in the South or West of the USA.

The B&M Fitchburg Line MP 25-31 Switcher Service recieves certain goods:

2 Cars Animal Feed a Week
2 Cars Perishables daily
2 Cars Fuel Gasoline Daily
Occasional Automobile Drop
1 Car bidaily Winter Sand Drops
Occasional Gravel Drops
3 Cars Lumber Weekly
Occasional Team Track Drops

There are no outgoing commodities

The Maynard Branch, under Jursidiction of the MP 25-31 switcher, recieves the following:
2 Cars for Maynard Business Union loaded with various manufactured goods weekly.

Unlike the mainline recievers who produce nothing but empty cars, the Maynard branch produces 4 cars a day of textile goods from the Maynard Mills.

I'm going to continue to read over and see whom I will buy these commodities from! Yippee!
