regular passenger service has ended on my layout, never to return, the FP7's having problems- the driveline sometimes starts to lock up when i take off and even at 100% power it often doesn't move. i will run an occasional excursion train, but that's all for now.

I cleaned the garage today and it looks better. Maybe if I would do it more my track may not get as dirty.

So true. I slightly revised my trackplan and determined there's 2 turnouts i don't need.

Sounds good. You can probably use the money for motive power or rolling stock.

Got to save money somewhere. I need track and roadbed. Ive got the rolling stock and 4 engines. The next thing Im getting is DCC though. Sadly it will be about three months before I can get the DCC system.

icmr, congrats on the 900 posts i look forward to seeing you for another 900- my RR is doing good- there are 2-3 trains a day- there was an excusion today plus 2 freights and the day isn't over. - last night i found that bearing for the b-b GP35 and i went to put the truck back together and found out why it fell apart in the first place- there is a tab on each corner of the top of the truck and these tabs form a square spot for the bearings to sit in- well 2 of thoses are broken off so i need a new truck now.--- because 1 of the turnouts that i determined uneccesary was already laid i removed it and and put it in the yard so i started on the 3rd yard track. We are doing good- still didn't get the U33C driveshafts yet- most likley this week.
