Ya mean you? The Conrail Ballast Express C32-8s weren't bad, CR owned 10, and I also like their SD60Is.

Although, nuttin' stands up to the al-mighty

SD80MAC

ooga-ooga-ooga-ooga--ooga!

............Nah just kidding, I'm not that retarded!

Oh and Eric, your so called 'competition' just got locked! LOL

Nothing stands up to the mightyest of the mighty, the one, the only Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 Big Boy. Now that's a big beaut.

I'm into diesels though. My favorite diesel is between the SD70ACe and the SD70MAC or the AC6000CW (but the SD40-2 ain't bad).

Guys, please, this is basically a two-way conversation. Couldn't this go on through one of those instant messaging services?

Matt or uspscsx, the server I have 'Road Runner' doesn't have IM or YAHOO! so this is my only chance.

Although, no-one likes GE, I say I like it just as much a s EMD, can someone give me their opinions and what model you would like, EMD or GE?

I have more than I know what to do with! Alot of them originate from when I modelled the late seventies to mid eighties. The blessings of modelling a small town that don't change much is that I didn't have to replace any structures, just alot of the vehicles. I still have them they are in a box floating around here somewhere.

Okay, that's a bit more understandable.

And yes, I like GE and EMD. Please, don't start a poll about this. There's been about 300 of them. And a few have turned into a burning inferno of flaming and trolling. Just a heads up.

So do I, and in fact, I'm hoping to purchase a model CSX GE AC6000CW sometime down the road here! There's two at a local hobby shop going for $250, I'm savin' up man!

And don't worry uspscsx, I ain';t starting a poll, I've already started to many.

In response to your question, I like both. As far as the older models are concerned(locos from 1955-1989), I like EMDs. However, when it comes to the newbies, I always, or almost always, put my money on GE.

Okay, how about a model of the U Boats or Blomberg units (B23-7-B40-8) and Conventional units (C32-8-C44-9W), built between 1959 and 1977?

Although 1977 was only the end of the Universal series (U Boats). I recently purchased a CSX YN2 B23/B30-7!! Runs great, built by ???, I'd have to go check, loco # 5542. [;)][8D]

I know.

Let's talk trains, I don't want people to think we're chatting. I've been trying to talk trains and you're the only one that really responds so that doesn't make us chatting but anyways, who thinks they'll get any models this weekend??

I do!

Amen, brother! Speaking of models, guess what I'm buying. I'll give a hint, it's the best loco of all time (to me anyway).

Wrong, a brass O scale 3-rail 4-8-8-4 Big Boy. And I might also buy a Lionel HO Challenger and some second hand Rivarossi coaches and tag it as an excursion run.

All at the "small" price of $3,700.00
