As I've stated before in several of my posts, including my first, I am very big fan of the Union Pacific. More specifically, I model the UP's operations in my home county in N scale, modern era.

I love thier "Flag Units". I'm the most patriotic person in my family, so you can see why I love them so much.

The modellers that almost literally count the rivets on thier models to make sure that they have the exact same number as tht on the prototype. You know the type that almost literally have a heart attack if some thing shows up on thier layout if it doesn't match the era, even if it's off by only days. That, my dear boy, is a "rivet-counter".

Here is another of my model railroad related terms:M&M. It stands for Math(deminsions of a layout, minium and maximum radius/grade, minium turnout) and Model(trains scale, era, and prototype),M&M.
Purely me, help me get it off the ground, and go ahead and add your own personal spin to it.

Ummh, it's hard to think of such a thing Eric! I don't know! But you're not the only one I've heard the expression M&M from, other people have used it. Did you come up with it?

As far as the Texas version goes. I've been saying it for 8 out of my 9 years as a
model railroader, and I came up with it then as far as I know because it was never introduced to me.

Welp , I guess we're off on a new OAT, but one thing, Eric, do you have a layout? Because I admit that mine is in construction, but i am working on modeling CSX's New Castle Sub and Indiananpolis Line.

Not to be rude or anything, but can't we just keep the original coffee shop and keep it that way?

Yes, three actually. One is a strictly postwar Lionel layout that has been a 6 year collage(if that's how ya spell the *** word) of effort between me and my cousins. Then there is my pride and joy, my HO DeWitt & South Texas RR. My N scale layout too is under construction, nearly complete, it to will model my south Texas home county.
