Also: Please do not discuss the situation in Ukraine on this Forum, not even in the Diner. Thank you.

This was fun to watch. Mostly scenes from New York Central promo films. Fascinating images of railroaders in everyday work plus some facilities that are long gone —

If no one is available to rearrange the Diner tonight I can handle the task unless someone else has a desire to...

Fancy, experimental or one-off railroad paint schemes from all over seems to be the theme.

Cheers, Ed

Good morning

Well, it's not my style to start out the day on a negative note, but posting here is as glitchy as it's always been.  Although somewhat used to that, the frequency of ads from the bottom and right side of the page has increased.  They take over the whole screen, making it almost impossible to prepare a post at times.

They pop up as your clicking on the screen, almost like they have some kind of artificial intelligence to them.  They take you off the page you're preparing, diverting you to their ad page.  Then when you try to click back, sometimes your whole post is lost and you have to start all over.

Its especially irritating when trying to get back to someone, in a timely manner while in a discussion.  One may be taking a break from this quite aggravating frustration.  I've become quite Fed-up with these over invasive ads that are obviously allowed to be that way.

As I have said before... Kalmbach does not sell pop-up ads on the Forums. If you are seeing pop-up ads, this is because at some point in the past you visited some website that surreptitiously installed adware on your computer. Those ads are not coming from the Forum.

Interesting.  I'm sure one of my daughters can uninstall this adware you spoke of.  It's been quite troublesome and I'm very appreciative to you letting me know about it.

Thanks Steven

I got sixteen feet of soffit up in four hours, including two light fixtures.

I am getting better at this.

Now... off to work.

I'd average about 30 seconds for a walleye.

I believe the nuber of fish I have cleaned in my life is exactly zero.

You don't need to do this. There are places you can go and buy fish already captured, cleaned, and ready for cooking.

Kevin, this was found to be hilarious and I'd like to thank you for the good laugh.  Sometimes humor strikes me in different ways.  As the quote was just a part of my post about resort life and cleaning fish, this humor could certainly be imagined how it would have flew back then.

Greating the Sportsman that traveled hundreds of miles as they arrived at the resort, all psyched up and ready to go fishing.  And after the thousands of dollars these people spend to do what they love...

The look on their faces as they were told, they could simply go up to the Fishery in International Falls and just buy their fish.  That way they didn't have to go fishing, nobody had to clean the fish they caught, and everyone would be happy.....PricelessLaugh

Busted a gut!  Thanks again for the humor todaySmile, Wink & Grin

Good Afternoon,

A frosty -7F right now. Oh well, it could be -20 so it is nearly warm. My wife thinks I am bonkers.

Have the S3 running around the layout. It is a little beauty, smooth and quiet. I did have trouble getting the headlight to work, think it must have been a connection issue. I did a reset of the decoder but all is well now.

Watching Wheeler Dealers as I type this. They are doing a TVR Griffith. What a nice car. Too bad they weren't sold here.

Anywhere for next month is fine with me.

Greetings from 2 inches of sleet. Luckilly we got sleet and not ice.

We have been getting some ice this evening. ( freezing rain)

Driving to work this morning was like driving on a slick gravel road.

Greetings from the very hot way down South.

We have been skirting record highs, we are predicted to break records the next couple of days, and we might even reach 90 degrees.

And... the humidity is way up there too.
