Woodland Scenics/DPM have offered this little food joint in both a built up and a kit. This one is the kit version.
It's funny how things show up in a photo that you never notice when looking at it with the naked eye. It looks like that false front on the theater in the background has warped since it was first installed and will need a bit of minor surgery to fix.

A really nice little diner there. I've long thought about converting one of my surplus dining cars to a roadside diner but can't find a good location for it.
This diner is a kitbash from two different diner kits, a Walthers kit and a wood craftsman kit which forms the drive-in part of the diner.
Still more diners, drive-ins, or dives please.
John-NYBWYesterday I posted the gas station from the FSM kit Roadside Delights. Here are a couple views of the diner from that same kit.
I really like the design of the diner from that kit. It reminds me of Brocatto's Sandwich Shop in Tampa, which has been there since the 1940s.

There is a third structure from that kit, a news stand, which I haven't built yet because I can't find a suitable place for it on the layout.
More diners, drive-ins, or dives, please.
