HO-VeloShow me some falling water.
Well, it's rippling. And technically, the water IS at a lower elevation as it's doing that so I guess falling would count?

Thank you, Kevin. Positive feedback such as yours is a great boost and encourages me to keep up the efforts on the layout
A few hours left... anything of your choice?

Since we are coming up on the final day of the August thread, why don't we make it free choice as to what to post.

I just posted this photo in the thread about mirrors but it works here too. Someday I'd like to light up my structures as Ed has because I love night scenes but that is well down the to-do list.

I think my 9 stall roundhouse qualifies. I think it's Heljan but it's so old I can't remember. It might be Kibri. The 5 stall auxiliary roundhouse next to it is a South River craftsman kit.

This is about as rural as it gets on my layout.

Show me some trees.
You want trees, you got trees. This is a forced perspective shot. I used puffball trees for most of the canopy making them smaller the farther away they are. I use Woodland Scenics and Supertrees in the foreground. The two houses are both N scale as are the telephone poles that don't show up in this photo.
Show me any rural scene.

This scene was inspired by a Harry Belafonte song about the mass produced houses in the post-WWII era.
