BATMAN
How about something totally made from scratch.

This is the scratchbuilt trestle I constructed for the Scale Rails Of Southwest Florida N scale train show layout back in 1992.

That is not my train on the bridge. In fact, I was no longer a member of the club when this picture was taken. This was a few years later, and I took this picture at a train show in Tampa where it was on public display.

Show me something else not built from a kit.

Please show me another busy urban scene.

Urban woods

Vertical towering Pines reduced to shorter horizontal trunks make use of themYes

His name was Paul and he drove South 30-50 miles everyday to retrieve pulpwood logs to bring back to Boise Cascade Urban International Falls.  I suppose he was still an Urban man while he was out in the woodsSmile, Wink & Grin

The skidder guy had the most stressful job in timberland harvest.  I worked on a logging crew up near the Kabetogama State Forest.  After we hooked up the cables around the trunks of the trees, his job was to wind them all up and drag them to the trucks waiting to be loaded.

When the cables were retrieved those trees cocked and cantilevered Every Witch Way zig-zaging through the other trees extremely quick.  It was the skidder guy's job to make sure that no one was in the way.

If Tree Huggers would take a break so our forests could be managed appropriately separated with wide rows of Timber Harvest.  The wildfires wouldn't keep expanding.

Without separated rows, there's a lot less trees to hug these days sadly to saySad

Multiple spans from before
Apparently I didn't have my reading glasses on that night.  A couple of the 45 cross beams look a little dainty and a couple a little too thick.  I may need to fix that.  I hate when I mix up my styrene when I put them back into the bagsIndifferent

Another busy Urban scene or some logging please.

Is your 2-8-0 repairable?

I have Bachmann Spectrum 2-8-0 that freewheels; and the motor does not run.  I made one half-hearted attempt to take it apart, but I didn't get very far and I put it back together.  Not sure what to do with it; it does look very nice.

That did help! Thank you. Smile

Is your 2-8-0 repairable?

It might be. It makes a loud clicking with a jerking motion going forward. It was killed when a truck screw backed out of a freight car and snagged on a crossing. The engine was halted abruptly and has clicked ever since.

It has since been replaced with an Elesco Feedwater Heater equipped PFM/United MA & PA consolidation, so it might be permanently relegated to the photo-prop fleet.

Again, another wagon-top or PRR round-top box car OR steam.

When Fox Valley Models released their beautiful M-53 B&O wagontop boxcars, they were nice enough to letter some for Tony Koester's ALLEGHENY MIDLAND, so I could include this wonderful model in my Fleet Of Nonsense.
