She won't need to worry about that

The new medicine developed in England apparently is not working
I think we are saying goodbye to Kelly tonight
Tinplate Toddlerit´s a clear case of discrimination.
Types of discrimination.
Show me a place where discrimination does not exist. It makes no rational sense to discriminate for any of the above reasons but people do, go figure. I have been discriminated by people during some of my world travels but despite that I have found the majority of people have brains and are welcoming as can be.
Giving up on anything because of one bad experience sure limits how full a life we can live.

And here I am, fussing about feeling discriminated by some Danish pastry not selling his home to us! I bow my head in shame.
Prayers to your family, TF!
Happy times!

I may have missed to say, that this is not my first and one and only very negative experience with Danish people. Our money is welcomed, but we are not.
Ulrich, good luck with your eye surgery. I'm glad you sought immediate medical advice. When you said you saw things that weren't there, I had an idea of what might be going on.
There is no accounting for prejudice. My father's ships were bombed by both the Japanese and the Germans and he seemed to harbor no ill will to immigrants of either country yet he had other prejudices.
Ricky unless that is an opinion from the Cleveland Clinic, I would get another opinion on the aneurysm. Sometimes the location makes them inoperable.
I can't make any sense in the Covid numbers. In any indivdual state the numbers jump around. The death rate is dramatically different in Virginia than in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Those three states all have some world famous medical institutions. It is still very low in Germany. It's often compared to influenza, where various strains are more deadly than others. Influenza death rate is a model. The "experts" decided that death certificates underestimate the true incidence. How do we know the models are accurate? One day we will figure out the experts, be they health, economic, social, government only think they know the answer, they don't really know.

Her voice influenced so many soldiers heading into battle. She died today at age 103.

Wow! IMHO her voice influenced the outcome of the war. I get a lump in my throat every time I hear her trademark song.
Thanks for letting us know!

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Ulrich,
Good luck with the surgery!
Judy's sister Kelly died today. We were all down at the hospital for support. Only her son and daughter could go in today to be with her. Her respirator was at 100% and her lung damage was too significant for recovery.
I want to thank you all for your prayers and support. She just wasn't strong enough. My Grandfather always said death is just going through another door. I do believe that.
I know Kelly has plenty of family and good people on the other side of that door
We love you Kelly
John
Our sincere condolences, TF!
Thank you Ulrich
And our prayers are with you always

Like so many people my age, I became aware of Vera Lynn because of her mention on Pink Floyd's Album The Wall.
The opening lyrics to Vera:
Does Anyone Here Remember Vera Lynn?
Remember How She Said That
We Would Meet Again... Some Sunny Day?
I love this clip of her.

TF: You and your wife will be in my thoughts. I am sorry for your loss.
John (TF) and Judy,
My heart goes out to you in your loss. Your openness in this difficult and relentless journey has not only touched us all, but brought us all closer. Treasure the memories. They are both Kelly's and God's blessings to you both.
At southern command this weekend. Cleaning up the property and painting the exterior of the house. front porch is now painted and getting ready to paint back side. Driveway side I had to pressure wash so it is drying and will get painted tomorrow. This is mostly forrest area so there is no lawn, I have to beat the brush back with a weedeater. well back to the grind.
John and Judy, I was so sorry to hear of your sister's death. I also believe what your grandfather said. You have my sympathy and prayers.
