BRVRR
More flags or patriotic scenes please.

.

The NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON paints a flag on their boxcars. Being 1954, it is a 48 star flag.

.

.

Let's keep the theme going... show me another flag.

I was shocked to find that I didn't have a flag on the layout. I will fix that over site soon.

UP 8818 is the best I can do.

More flags or patriotic scenes please.

That should at least get us started for the long Memorial Day weekend.

Here's a little celebration with flags flying (don't count the stars, there's only 48 Indifferent)

Two days and nothing to show me?

.

Bump to the top with Godzilla and King Kong fighting on an N-Trak layout.

.

.

Show me something simple, how about a picture in full color? That should at least get us started for the long Memorial Day weekend.

It looks like the 34, on the left, is about to be passed by the freight approaching in the distance...

...but she's just about to start out with her short mixed train.  The whole story, if you've got a little time to kill, can be viewed HERE.  Also, a few posts into the replies, there's a short video.

Show me some more operations with at least two trains involved, please.

While most of my small towns use the Atlas station, Dunnville's station (and its elevated right-of-way) came courtesy of the New York Central's deep pockets when they owned controlling interest in the Grand Valley Railway (known, at least by the Central, in those days as the Grand Valley Central).  They dropped out pre-1929, leaving the largest station, by far, on the road...

The station, as shown, is one storey above street-level, with the centre block the actual station, with railroad offices above.
The far wing is for the express department, and the near wing is occupied mostly by Canada Post.

Wayne

Show me another large station, please.

Most of my railroad's structures, at least those most seen by the public, are painted in the road's double grey and green paint scheme....
