ask clever enough questions and you may do Kalmbach's marketing for them, if someone askes a question aout a method that sounds interesting, it may very well drive someone who isn;t a subscriber to sign up so they can check it out.

Yep, like I said get the interest enough to find out "what's everybody talking about?"

I was once a subscriber, but I'm not into building any of their project railroads, and questions and methods that I have, I find answered from many sources.

I also had video problems with the site the first time around.  Maybe that's changed now, as I have also changed to a newer computer and operating system, and my internet speed is now a constant 230+ Mbps.

And soon, I will away from the computer and my modeling, as the outsde 1:1 building season gets going.

To each his own, as they say. Smile, Wink & Grin

I am not suggesting that the MRVP comments should lead to discussion.  However, there are a lot of what was that thing, how was that done, where did you find that product type questions that never get answered.

Hey Maxman, that's why I started this discussion! I am hoping that if there are any questions, or even ideas, that we can talk about it here. This is why the series is contained within this single discussion. Thanks for the comment!

I'm a subscriber and a fanboy of MRVP. All comments on the videos there are moderated. By the time your comment is visible, you've lost interest in continuing the discussion.

Probably off topic, but now that you bring up comments, many of them are actually questions relating to the videos.  Most frustrating, at least to me, are the relatively few answers.
