It's a 0% APR through Samsung, its 30 bucks a month for 24 months, I intend on owning this phone for at least 3 years.
I was using an S4, they're coming out with the S10 this fall.
The battery life stunk, and I had next to ZERO storage, it was time to upgrade AND I have the means just not upfront.
My truck is paid for, my "monthly" bill on it is the tires payments (12 months at 44 dollars a month, 70 bucks total interest) my phone bill is 50 bucks a month, and now the phone itself is 45-ish with the protection plan.
I opened a Facebook account! I figured that when people I am meeting look me up that will be the most likely site they'll search.
I'm not getting the forum emails anymore? Perhaps it's a bug or MR changed it?
Steve

Afternoon Diners
Flo, you know the drill. please.
Boy I am sleepy. Fell a sleep while watching a NCIS Marthron last night. Woke up at 4:00 AM and they had one I never seen with Zeva, Tony and Abby and I was awake the rest of the day. Dang I am tired.
Sue Rehab. She broke into tears when she was told she had to go to rehab 3 times a week for the next 3 weeks! In her mind she would have to go maybe 3 times this month and she be fit as a fiddle. Other worry is the co-pay. Each visit will be $35.00 times 3 times a week is $105.00 a week. 15 years ago that would have been chump change. Well not now!
Ed That photo helped. I will check out the DCC secction as well. Dang it, I figuered it out before, so I will again!
Later, Ken

Good afternoon from a sunny and warm 16c West Coast. The grass is growing like crazy so it looks like it will be John Deere time well into November this year.
NWP SWPI had to finance it, but I can afford the payments so its good.
And so it begins!
The average American (your age) will spend $600,000.00 in interest charges in a lifetime. $300,000.00 will be spent on interest buying a home, generally a good investment. The second $300,000.00 will be spent on the interest of mostly optional expenditures, leading to a lifetime of financial stress.
The battle continues on the keeping up with things that keep breaking. Another plastic "sink stopper" mechanism broke at the pipe and so I bought a metal replacement at a much greater cost for two reasons, one it is unlikely to need replacing again and two, the plastic ones constantly clog up as soap scum and other goo stick to the plastic, causing me to have to take it all apart to clean them on a regular basis. You get what you pay for.
Talked to a train guy yesterday that went to pick something up at PWRS and came home with an armload of their N.A.R.C. grain cars. Really beautiful works of art, they are so detailed. He's a retired airline pilot so he could afford the extra hundreds he spent. I think he spent just over a $1000.00 It probably would have been cheaper if he had the one item mailed to him, then he wouldn't need to resist temptations by going into the shop.
The kid called me last night and said "you are now my manager", can you answer these E-Mails for me? It's a good thing I know nothing about the business. Anyway, we have cousins that have a hoity-toity law firm in Vancouver and they have hooked me up with a top Entertainment contract lawyer just in case we have to move fast on something.
Had my last coffee of the day so had better get back to being a plumber after being a locksmith this morning. Then it is a bottle of good wine while I watch the Vancouver Canucks destroy the Tampa Bay Lightning in Tampa @ 1630hrs. Haven't heard if the hurricane has affected the game or not.
All the best to all.
Brent
"All of the world's problems are the result of the difference between how we think and how the world works."
My last day of cardio rehab was today. It helped a lot at first, but I've reached a plateau and I won't really improve much more until I get the heart fixed.
In Saint Barts in the Caribbean, a "cheeseburger in paradise" will cost you $50. I asked someone who actually got one, and he said it was just a cheeseburger, nothing special.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
Good morning.
Two more days of that ugly word (wxxk) and then 3 days off.
I seen on the news this morning, Duluth has really high waves going over the break water walls and flooding the streets. Superior, the world's largest freshwater lake is known to do that I guess. Have a great day all
Little Timmy BATMAN Had a neighbour with an old hearse that was lime green. He hot rodded it and turned it into a camper that actually was very functional. When he sold it, it went fast and he made a good profit on it. It must have attracted a lot of attention at the campgrounds. I have taken Mine camping a few time's. I had 3 camping trip's where I got to the campground late in the day. I set up, say hi to the neighboring camper's , and hit the hay. The next morning ..... all the campsite's next to me were deserted ! They all moved several campsite's away during the night. ....... Was it my cologne ??????

Hey is this it?
are those side pipes!?
How bout crossbreeding the above with this?
All this hearse talk reminds me of a nursery rhyme.
"Have you ever seen a hearse go by, and think someday you will surely die; they put you in a little box, and cover you over with dirt and rocks!"
Wait that ain't no nursery rhyme! That's from the A-Team! Remember H.M. (Howling Mad) Murdock singing that!?
Here's the clip I'm talking about.
And apparently it's a whole song!?
Well enjoy folks!
cudakenBLI PRR M1a help please. Can some post a up close photo of where the front of the walk way goes across the cylinders on both sides? Plus if possible the rounting of the wires from the headlight and under the bolier?
I made a separate thread in the DCC forum, Ken. Figured it would take up too much space here
http://cs.trains.com/mrr/f/744/t/272445.aspx
I'll have to add a few more photos of the walkway. I thought you were talking about the front walkway "across the cylinders" rather than the side walkway.
PRR_M1BLI5 by Edmund, on Flickr
It looks like the headlight wire passes just above the spring hangers favoring the left side of the locomotive.
Hope that helps. I won't put the M1 back in the roundhouse just in case you need another photo.
Regards, Ed

BigDaddy Haven't seen a $2 hamburger in decades. Wonton Done? I guess you had to be there.
Haven't seen a $2 hamburger in decades.
Wonton Done? I guess you had to be there.
Yep $2 half pound Black Angus burgers Wednesday night at Cowboy Jack's Bloomington Minnesota. I like cheese on my burger though. You have to pay $0.50 extra for that,.....oh well, put it on my tab.
Wonton Done! Yep you had to be there. Kate is really funny. He doesn't even have to say anything sometimes. He reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield. Just the way he looks at you makes you laugh. I like hanging around funny people. I believe laughing heals
Evening diners,
2 buck burgers!? At Leblancs Drive in a REAL hamburger (not the fast "food" version) is 7 bucks! And at the Hawks Nest it's 11 bucks!
Yesterday was the club meeting night, and for a change I got there early enough to go with the gang to the Hawks Nest which they always go to but I've never gone with them.
I'm very happy with my phone upgrade, I had to finance it, but I can afford the payments so its good.
Well there's not much else going on.
Howdy ......
We went to Nashville yesterday.... I came back this morning after taking Shelley to the airport. She flew to Michigan ..
It is sad to hear about so much destruction caused by Hurricane Michael .
I ran trains a while ago. Here is a consist of NP F-units.
Wonton Done? I guess you had to be there. Good thing you got a ride home.

Good afternoon from the Sunny and warm for the foreseeable future West Coast. It was 17c today and it is a good thing. There was a massive Natural Gas pipeline explosion up near Prince George B.C. and they fear a million customers will run out of gas in B.C. and Washington State. So we turned the furnace off to do our bit. If we do run out of gas at least we can have a hot shower in the trailer.
Talking to a guy that picked up 8 new in box trueline trains Cabooses all for $10.00 at Value Village, good deal. Not sure what Value Village is, maybe a thrift store of some kind. I think there is one near our Costco about 30 min away, maybe I should stop in, ya never know what you might find.
Still fixing the joint up a bit and getting rid of a lot of junk in the process. We may have to make a trip to the transfer station as our garbage pile is growing a lot faster than what our garbage can will hold.
Saw the kid in two episodes of "The Man In The High Castle" last night. He was chugging some serious amounts of booze in a bar in one scene. My son the drunk "HIC" That's the second drunk he has played. The other was in "Legends Of Tomorrow" where he also was being taken advantage of by the saloon hooker. He was 17 at the time and the girl playing the hooker was 29! Nothin like an experienced older woman.
He filmed one of those "High Castles" a year and a half ago. Don't know if he shows up in "The Predator" yet. No one we know has seen it, including the kid. It's not getting very good reviews so Netflix it is.
TF, you guys making a movie with that stage? The kid never stops talking about all the pretending he has gotten to do making movies and TV shows. He can't believe he gets paid to do it, especially the high action stuff.

Well, time for a refill on the red.
Sorry I missed you guys in the Diner for dinner tonight. Judy and I have been known to stop at Cowboys for hump day. Wednesday is half pound Black Angus burgers for 2 bucks and $2 beers or drinks till 6:00.
My buddy Kate was there. He's from Cambodia. I guess they have guys named Kate over there in Cambodia.
I never laughed so hard in my life when everybody was talking smack and laughing. Kate turned and looked at me like this Then he said.....Wonton Done, Wonton Done. Oh God I laughed hard.
Well anyway we did the responsible thing and took a cab home.
There I am on top to the far left of Colonel Sanders next to the snobby gent in the center. I'm sure glad it wasn't raining
Afternoon diners,
I'll take one of Ed's Boston Coolers and some of Mr. Ottes pecan pie.
Been busy, I got my new phone in today, it's a "Sunrise Gold" Galaxy S9, it's taking some getting used to but I like the change.
Seems the "Recent Discussions" area on the mobile version of the forum has been changed.
Well I'll be back later this evening.
Flo, get the gang and I a and give Ulrich (where has he been hiding) Rick and Steven what they want.
My fault the dinner slipped off the rails. Seems I spat some phlegm on the rails and off went the dinner.
Had a rough night last night, did have a few coughing fits. Felt a little short of breath today, check my oxgen level and I was at 98% by the finger test thing? That seemed odd to me?
Got more cleaning done! This time I wore a dust mask and that seem to do the trick. Laundery room was cobweb heaven! Not anymore! All so washed the blind for the laundry room widow and got the window open for the first time in the 25 years we lived here. All so did get some cleaning done in the family room and got one of it's windows open. Feels good to have a cross brezze in the house!
Wife goes to her first out paintent rehab Thursday. She needs to get walking with no walker or cane quick. I have maybe 2 to 3 weeks worth of pay coming to me, after that I am back to work. If we did not have Sparkie the blind rocket dog, would not be a problem. She's got to beable to take care of the little guy!
BLI PRR M1a help please. Can some post a up close photo of where the front of the walk way goes across the cylinders on both sides? Plus if possible the rounting of the wires from the headlight and under the bolier? All so the location of the devices (I know it starts with a E, well I think) for slecting direction for the the engine in relation to the walkway? Just cannot seem to get everything cenetred.
Track Fiddler Yea a quick living room was sort of fun. Main reason I did it was because the guy that lived on the same block as I did. He had a new 1978 Z-28 and kept telling me he could beat anything I had! Hum, never would run aginst my 68 Roadrunner with the 1963 426 Maxie Wedge for some reason. But if I was in the 1973 Eldo, well there he be beside me? He got a rude awaking after I and my guys played with the Eldo! Did not cream him, but got him by a car from block to block stop light. If the Eldo had Posi, well it would have been 2.5 cars.
Chicken Taco Salad tonight. Well no chips but should be good.
Good afternoon, Diners:
Steven OtteHave a free slice of pie by way of apologies.
Thank you, Steven! A slice of that pecan would hit the spot right about now
Here's a peek at the New Haven depot in Bridgeport, Connecticut. I visited here back in 1973 when a friend visited the Navy yard here. The depot looked nothing like this when I was there.

Wouldn't it make a nice model scene as it is in the post card?
Still warm and muggy here in Ohio — cooler temps on the way tonight.
Lucky me! Top 'O The Page. Looks like the crowd is pretty slim here but, hey, everyone's tab is on me
Cheers, Ed
Sorry for the derailment this morning. We appear to be upright and on track again. Have a free slice of pie by way of apologies.

The diner didn't open for breakfast this morning. I guess I'll have a tuna on rye. Good to see you all again.
MLC I'm glad you got your air conditioning fixed. Even if you don't need it anytime soon..
I hate when things are broken Especially when things are off for a while. It's good to know it works for the next time you need it.
Now I will share my Bering Sea King Crab with you. Let's eat
Track fiddlerTimmy Timmy, that's a Hurst. How much fun can you have in a Hurst
Well.......
It did have a bed in the back.......
I took the bed out , when I was hired for "Limo service"
But for safty's sake, I installed 6 set's of seatbelt's in the back.
( The "fun" came to a screaching halt ,when the drunken passenger's started to flail about while rollin down the road ! Seat belt's fixed that !!! )
TF : I got the AC fixed last night, I spliced a broken wire and off she went.
we get our free A/C staring Thursday, so I did not need it too many more days, but it was getting humid.
Garry: I was in your neck of the woods all day today. We aquired a Physician office in Eddyville and I was there installing new equipment. It was a long day.
We had our railroad museum meeting tonight. I installed the "new" lionel ZW transformer on the o scale and boy it runs better.
Evening All! Flo (or however's handy), could I get some breaded mushrooms with blue cheese dressing? Thank you so much. Hobby Front: Got a bit more done on the new layout. Got the new auto car started. Found that I had to modify the body to accomodate my radius. (I still don't know if it is sufficent to work as I had done some ballasting and needed it to dry.) I have the control panel assembled. I still need to attach the 1x4 pieces to set the board off from the side of the layout. Also found that I had to repair a few cars that were damaged in transport. (Just needed to redo a few couplers that had fallen off.) I have run into a bit of a problem. As previously mentioned, I moved one section from the old layout to this one. Originally, that piece had a hill/ridge that ran the full length of the section. Something akin to this: In the move both sections of the hill/ridge were snapped off. I have glued the left hand section back on. However, I haven't decided if I want to reattach the right hand side again. This is what it looks like without the right hand section: Any suggestions as to which way looks better would be welcomed.
Timmy, that's a Hurst. How much fun can you have in a Hurst
Evening all.....
Flo, can I get an order of french fry's ... and a Chocolat shake to dip em in ?
Cadillac's ???
Yea , I had one...
This is my favorite car. I dont have her anymore( this is a picture of a picture)
I had way too much fun with this ! Quick ??? No. But I did manage to get her up to 135 MPH once ( it took 10 miles to do it.) Not bad ,for a car that weighed 6554 LBS ! ( and that was without my fat behind in it ) Went to a lot of car show's, and I was always booked solid for Halloween gig's .
Someday I WILL get another one.
