So that's what you have been talking about. Gotch, I may need to bash one for my work train. By the way, it nice to see that you finely chose a "Good Road Name" Bow

'bought to fall victim to the BT&S's red and yellow scheme, which shouldn't be too long from now.

Evening guys

no work on the MR today. My left shoulder is really bugging me. Yesterday when wrestling a friend, my left arm arm/shoulder got rolled fowards and up a ittle. I can barely move it with out hurting like mad... Needless to say, work today was a bear...

Ken, Didn't Ulrich say he moved recently?

Gary, I looked up that loco. It's an ex-CN GP9u

Dennis, LOL. There was one pic I saw where he looks like he's on a tablet or something... I think the guy's a nut like his father, but he's probably scared now that there are B2s and F22s in SK.

Ray, I think a 6 would work okay with those locos. Mallets are articulated, so they aren't as bad as some others. The #6 would probably be an issue with, say a Union Pacific type (4-12-2) or an AA20-1 (4-14-4)

Guess I'll make some crackers for a snack. Anyone tried ritz crackers with pepperjack cheese and pepperoni? It's awesome

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Hey, Jeff's back!

30f and windy as all heck!! Sunny, tho!

Had a good Easter. Went bowlling after Church. Then drove around Spooner Yard taking pictures of all the RR equipment that's stored there for the Wisconsin Great Northern RR. That's a tourist RR based here. Lots of extra sidings, too. Google map Spooner, Wis. We should come here!! The roundhouse is ( mostly )still here as is the turntable and sanding tower. The station is the museum. Very cool!!

MOH is trying to upload pics now, so I'll post when I can!!

Hope Ulrich's OK.

hahaha, I know I thought of Jeff when I was thinking of shoehorning the front end of an F unit onto a Dash 8 the loco would've been nicknamed well I'll save that for another time.

Why put off til tomorrow what can be done today?

Coffee refill, please.

Almost like Caboose Day in the Diner. Seems Jerry is having a slight issue with his though.Laugh

***Gary, interesting load that train was carrying. The dog sure was into it.

My brother speaks German, but his writing skills are probably rusty since he lived there for a year.

What was the minimum radius for larger (HO) locos like the T-1 and Mallets? And what about Kato #6 switches, are they OK for those sized locos? I think someone here said they would work fine!?!

Long day, much accomplished, all tuckered out now.

Cheers! Cowboy Rob

So were is the Diner?

LION is in North Dakota, so we must be in North Dakota. There is a siding down by the Ethanol Plant, so we can park the train there if we like.

Fumes? Not to worry about the Ethanol Plant, it smells like bread baking.

Sure is dull around here without Jeff isn't it. Dang it all, he's such a source of inspiration for me and for others I suspect. Besides, he's my go to with my really dumb questions.

Cheers

Hope everybody has a good one, and I hope we hear from Ulrich soon! Even if it is in German, Ich spreche eine kleine Deutche. (I speak a little German)Wink

Translation is NOT a problem, but Petra may not know that.

My MIL is from Germany, and MOH was raised every other summer over there. When I am at My Inlaws, half the conversations are in Deutche, as my MIL fades in and out between English and German.

So, if she knows how to access the trains.com site, there would be hope. Ulrich has never been in the hospital this long before, as Ulrich says they don't keep you in a day over absolute need to be in there. That is what makes me think there is mnore to this than we may know yet.

Sigh

Morning All,

Currently 39 with an expected high of 62 under mostly cloudy skies, with a chance of rain.

Closing shift today so after a little housew**k, I will try and w**k on the layout before heading off to w**k.

    Prayers to all in need.

Mornin' everyone!

Zoe just another cup of the dark roast coffee please.  Been raiding the chocolate supply already this morning...

Galaxy, I want you to know I searched all over the place, North East, North West, Canada, and several other places only to find the diner still sits on the same siding as last month.  What's going on here?

Dennis I can't help but wonder if Mr. Un there is the same guy as that pop singer/dancer fellow...  You know Gang Man or something like that?  They sure look alike.

Today here in the Finger Lakes it appears to be changeable.  We have rain, snow, clouds, wind, sun, sleet, higher wind, large snowflakes, small snowflakes, and other stuff... Currently 35°F with a high later in the day....

Have to run downtown to do a couple quick errands before noon.  Better leave before the weather changes again!

Later!

Coffee in a  SUNNY SOUTHERN  mug, please.

Hired hands just got the last of the (N) shelf layout removed from the walls in the Train Room. Next on the list (for me) will be remove a few nailed on boards (into studs) from the wall, some sheetrock patching and cleaning up the floor, then I can start planning the new tables. Will also need to raise the old layout and attach some leg extensions. That part will be interesting.Hmm

OK, off to get more chainsaw gas and farm supplies. Have a good day all.

Cheers! Cowboy Rob

 Morning Folks

Flo, Diet Dew and where are we? Whistling Or is that are April Fools Gag?

Speaking of April Fool's, SSI sent Sue $315.00 this month, that should have not happened! With the way my paydays fell last month I made well over the limit of what I could make and Sue still receive her SSI payment. I am sure she is going to hear about that!

Good morning.

Not much going on except for doing some errands today. May get some more work done on the Me Bf 109G-10, and may get the P-38 ready for a second coat of paint.
